Okay, as bridges go, this one goes high, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again - and I fail to see the $244 million investment. See it if you are going that way anyway. Otherwise, go where you're going.

Every time we vacation in the area we make sure to drive over this bridge and stop at the fishing piers to get a good view of the beautiful structure.

Fantastic bridge, great architectural structure. Stunning views of the bay. Am sure it helps traffic from Tampa to the Gulf

This bridge is so long and the water so beautiful. I like to go to the Tampa airport just to go over the bridge. A breath of fresh air! Gorgeous view!!

This suspension bridge over Tampa Bay really is one of the sights to see. And it can be seen for miles!

The views from this bridge are amazing. There is a 1.75 toll each way but it is worth it. I just missed a freighter coming from the Port of Tampa going underneath but still breathtaking. Must see!!!!

I feels like a ride in an amusement park, especially when you go up! The views are very nice on both sides! Both kids and adults liked it a lot.

This bridge is worth the $1.75 toll one way to drive over. If you time it right and see a cruise ship go under it is breathtaking. They only just miss it 20 feet clear one one we saw. You can stop on rest area...More

You will enjoy the bridge between St. Pete and Bradenton, I-275, just keep your eyes on the road. Peripheral vision will do the sight-seeing. The price is right, $1.50 I think, I have a Sun Pass and it was $1.00 last time I used cash....More

No worries - just go the opposite way - go north on I-275 from St Pete beach, merge on to I-4 east in Tampa and then I-75 south. Then you can drive down toward Sarasota and connect west over toward it wherever you'd like... More
