Nice trail to run or walk on....usually quiet. Check for events at the stadium parking can get crazy...if something is going on. There are usually homeless people in the woods around the lake but they have always been harmless they feed the stray cats.

There is a lot to this park. A very nice all purpose trail that makes maybe a mile loop. Awesome playground. Boardwalk around a pond. Pond with pier. Picnic shelters. Restrooms.

Al Lopez Park has something for everyone. You can walk, run, bike, or jog your way around two scenic routes. One has exercise equipment and restrooms along the way as well as access to picnic tables, the children's play area, sports field and dog park. The other takes you through a forested canopy over a boardwalk and wooden bridge past... More

Great in the morning hours to run, walk, jog and such but horrible in the evenings. The dog park is great, large enough for almost any dog. Might want to avoid in the weekend as this can definitely be a busy time, with multiple parties going on all at once. Football games, forget it, very busy. However, all-in-all, the one... More

Very quiet in the morning. Really crowded in the evenings. People jogging. A lot of squirrels, rabbits, ducks and sometimes a raccoon. Very clean, fresh and convenient.

Al Lopez Park has been around for as long as I can remember. It's a great park for adults and for kids for running, walking, working out (there are workout stations along the main trail), picnics (plenty of green to setup a picnic but also picnic tables), etc. There are also playgrounds. I miss the big castle playground thing that... More

This is a great place to exercise, play and picnic. Something for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors. Plenty of sunshine and shade. Great for large or small events.

Lots of birds in a convenient location with good parking and restrooms. White Ibis are tame, lots of egrets, warblers, boat-tailed grackles, etc. Didn't see an alligator. Long, smooth joggling paths with exercise station stops along the way. A fine resource if you live nearby or need to exercise while on a trip. The park appears safe, but I have... More
