Convention

Had a great convention this July. The tread show well spread out. The food was fair. Very clean and open space.

The views from the building are spectacular. The management not so spectacular. I was there for a small conference -- 1100 people. The lines for food were too long, no recycling in the building -- come on this is 2016. All the rooms were freezing cold we were constantly going outside to defrost in spite of wearing a wool sweater... More

We attended a conference and had limited time to come out and buy coffee. Went to inside vendor, and they were all out! Could not wait for them to make more! Also, the convention center provided lunch and when we went to get our boxed lunch, all they had to drink was diet pop and water! They ran out of... More

We love this venue and coming to it for myriad events. Of course the home show is a must and it is a great place for the Pirate Invasion Brunch. We have attend conventions here and found it has everything needed and nearby hotels.

I have been to many convention centers throughout the country. This is by far the worse one I have ever encountered. We attended a cheerleading competition here. Just to get into the place was an issue. There were 40 Exit doors (yes I counted) and 2 entrance doors. Ridiculous! You had to walk all the way around the building to... More

We were there for a Cheer competition and was amazed on how big this building is and how much they can hold. the only thing , some of the Venders closed early due to running out of food. I think they should of known that there would be a lot of people around do to the ALL activities down town.

Being on the water really gives this convention center an edge over those that are not. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and view in between your events. It is nice and clean and very functional. Good Job Tampa! Be sure you understand parking and entrance, the attached garage seemed to fill up quickly. The street parking meters... More

It's clean easy to navigate, there is a small coffee/refreshment area that sells sandwiches and snacks similar to a airport kiosk.

The convention center was very clean and nicely laid out. It's a nice location, however parking can be tricky. If you stay at a hotel close by, you can easily walk!
