I went here to go to the Boat Show. Great place to go for any type of convention. Staff at Convention is friendly. It's in a great location. I would definitely come back here again for conventions.

I recently took my daughter to the Convention Center for Metro-Con, which is an anime, comic book, manga themed event. The location of the Center is convenient to downtown and adjacent to Harbor and Davis Islands. I wandered around while she roamed around with a school friend and her older brother. The facilites appear to be in good condition and... More

The Convention Center was conveniently located to many hotels in the downtown area with a connecting skywalk from the hotel that we stayed in Embassy Suites, Many of the activities associated with the Shriner Convention (which we were attending) took place in the convention center making for easy access to meetings, vendors, competitions, food etc.

The architecture is reminiscent of the famous Tampa cigar factories. Great patios and places to walk and talk. It's at the end of Tampa's successfully designed River Walk.

This convention center was small. The concession food was your typical overpriced frozen burger and pop soda. The pretzel could have chipped a tooth. Little parking. Little loading area The contractor sales rep that provides the Electric was very rude. Most of the mid tier with the load in were rude. They seemed to hate their jobs. The show promoter... More

On each of my last three family trips to Tampa I stopped by the Tampa Convention Center simply to see what new exhibition was showing or which group was appearing. It has very very nice architectural lines both inside and out. I always stay at the Tampa Marriott Waterside, which is almost next door and only takes 2 or 3... More

It was my husband, our teenage son and 8 year old nephew who visited the convention center this past weekend for Comicon. I have to say, even with the large number of people there, the facility was nice and clean. Most importantly they made sure the bathrooms were clean at all times and that they were not running out of... More

Absolutely the most fun I've ever had to date!! drove from Fort Myers to the convention center, did a quick $20 for parking at Wells Fargo Bank. it was a roundabout way to get into the convention center but after that it was worth. it too much to see, too much to do, too many people to meet in just...
