After visiting our son and family, my wife and came to the Tampa area for a vacation. Little did we know we would find a gem of a place like this. We have only done 3 – 4 Escape Games in our life, but we have found all of them to be fun and challenging. This place is no different. As we are in the season of Covid, we chose America’s Escape Game as the room was guaranteed to be just the two of us and we wouldn’t be placed with someone we didn’t know. We chose ‘Crisis at 1600’. Alright, a little disclaimer. ‘Pandemic’ and ‘Crisis at 1600’ are designed for larger groups. If the number of occupants states 8 -10, be warned, it is designed so multiple people can do multiple activities at the same time. As it was just the two of us, some puzzles (once you had all the pieces) took quite some time to put together. Was it fun? Definitely. Would I do this one again? In a heartbeat. We were blessed to meet the owners after our game and had a very pleasant talk with them. Another positive during this game was that no one had booked the room after us, so we were allowed to try and finish the game (of course we did pay the additional fee for the extra hour and if you don’t finish a game and wish to come back, it is only half price for that game). Did we finish? Not quite, but close. If you are a team of 2 – 5, you could theoretically complete the room in a couple hours. Of course, we also had some helpful nudges which were appreciated. We had sooo much fun, we came back and tried ‘Pandemic’ and ‘The Shack’. I recommend all three that we tried. Great Place! Great Fun!

We went here last night and had a group of 4 and it was so much fun! We loved they had late hours and did the 10:40pm-11:40pm and it was a blast! We tried the caretaker and the room was so cool the props were the best we’ve seen out of all the escape rooms we have done. You definitely need a few people because it was hard but man was it fun. Leilani was in charge of our room and helping us with clues and she was amazing! She made it if we were struggling too long on something that doesn’t have to do with the game she would help direct us away from that. She is so funny and bubbly and made the experience a lot of fun. They have several rooms and we will definitely be back to try the others. This was my favorite escape room out of any I’ve been too.

My friend and I came into this chain unsure of how good it would be. We did the Asylum and the production quality of it was fantastic not to mention we got a little freaked out a couple times by some surprises. Our game guide and co-owner of this franchise Jo was amazing. She let us play the game to our desire and only helped when really needed as I am pretty stubborn about that. After finishing it with only 6 seconds left, we were talking to Jo about how much we enjoyed that room. Since it was a quiet evening, we decided to do Pandemic right after. There were a lot of things to do in this room but definitely doable. It was challenging but overall fun. Come to find out Jo and her husband built all the rooms from scratch and did an AMAZING job. All the things in the room were triggered by us and the rooms were self-sufficient. I highly recommend anyone who wants to play and escape game, come check out this one. We will absolutely be back again to finish the rest of the rooms.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience here! The room was really amazing, it was filled with interesting and challenging puzzles and the atmosphere was wonderfully creepy with jumpscares to keep you on your toes. Also Jo was incredibly kind and inviting! She changed arrangements just to allow for us to try the room we really wanted to, which I thought was so nice of her. She made our time here really special! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys escape rooms and I will absolutely be returning to try some more!

By far one of the BEST escape rooms we’ve visited!!!! We travel and do them and came here for our anniversary. We did 3 of the 5 room and plan to return. The manager James was very professional and took the overall experience over the top. Recommend you add this location to your bucket list!!!

We had a great time! So much fun for our leadership team. We booked an extraordinary experience with three teams of six. The rooms were so challenging and so much fun. I highly recommend America’s Escape Game!

Love love loveeee America’s escape game Tampa! Hands down the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to- and I’ve been to most in the area from Tampa to Orlando! Each room is unique and very interacting and engaging. They are too easy yet not too challenging either. The owners, Tony and Jo are amazing as well as there daughter who is responsible for all of the media for the place! Super nice people and fantastic games! Will definitely be back to try the new games this summer!!!

Great experience for team building. We enjoyed the Pandemic room. Was very challenging but not impossible. We escaped with seconds remaining. Friendly staff and easy to walk over to Brass Tap and grab a drink as a group.

We hosted a company event here with 15 people. The staff was helpful before and during the event and they were pleasant to deal with. The rooms were challenging. Everyone had a good time.

The room consisted of 4 actual rooms. Lots of clues and pieces to the puzzles. We didn't actual make it out but got to the missile control room with 1 min left. The staff gave us some clues which helped us when we were stumped. It was a hard escape room in my opinion.
