Although we live in St. Petersburg and had been to the Vinoy several times and the Birchwood (and Canopy Bar) several times, we really had a fantastic time on this group tour! My wife and I went with our next door neighbors and a friend of theirs, and there were 2 other couples on the tour, one from Atlanta and one from Sarasota celebrating their Anniversary. It was fun going from spot to spot with this group and the drinks were delicious, the food was scrumptious! During our second stop at the Canopy Bar on the roof of the Birchwood Hotel, we commented that we had already received our money's worth, and yet the tour was only half completed.
Kimberly was a wonderful guide. This was a wonderful evening.
We're definitely going to do the Dunedin Tour next!

This was a fun tour and a very nice way to experience a bit of downtown Tampa. As a result I would recommend it, especially to out of town visitors. Pre-tour communication with the company and Kim the owner was excellent and Lisa, our guide, was excellent. We went on a Monday evening and had a small group of 8 and we all got on great. The tour started with a glass of bubbly in the book shop at Oxford Exchange, where we had an informative tour hosted by one of the store managers. Next we moved through the University of Tampa campus and onto Malio’s for an appetizer. Continuing on the Riverwalk we visited the cafe at the Art Museum, and this was the least enjoyable part of the tour. Next stop was the Sheraton (food was great here) and finally we visited a cool Tapas bar, Spain on Tampa Street, for desert and coffee. Overall, my wife and I liked the tour and enjoyed the food. The wines were average at best so I would have preferred an alternative (craft beers anyone?). But all in all it was a fun and interesting tour.

Kim and Alex were so accommodating! The tour itself and the fun facts that Alex (our guide) were able to share about Dunedin made it a truly enjoyable experience. My husband and I have been on a few dozen food tours. Kim’s attention to detail in her directions and her follow up with ensuring we were squared away is something we haven’t always experienced.
I would not have initially chosen Dunedin for a tour, but it was what was available. I’m glad it worked out that way!! The city was adorable. The food was great! And our guide was someone I would consider a friend.

The food and Kimberly were our favorite parts of the food tour. We were concerned about all the walking but it worked out well. The food was delicious and each stop included some history of the city and history of the owners. The downtown area of Tampa was comfortable and alive with people.

This was my first food tour and I was very delighted at my experience. The host was very friendly and informative. All the restaurants had delicious food, my two favorites include the oyster bar & acropolis. We had thirty minutes per restaurant and Kim did a great job of keeping us informed and on track for the rest of the food tour. I would definitely go again. It was a great value for the price!!

Did St Petes tour.St Petes is great but tour seemed rushed, wine poor and food very patchy.Not really briefed on food and chicken skewers( no choice) in fusion type restaurant... really.At $75 a head , expected better quality

Having led the tour I am a bit surprised you did not feel that the value was there.The Downtown St. Pete Food Tour is new but the feedback on the quality and quantity has been very positive. For the $75.00 ticket price your tour featured.
James Museum - choice of wine or beer chips with guac and salsa introduction to the museum talk
The Oyster Bar- choice of wine, beer or cocktail. Choice of steamed or raw oysters.fish spread and veggie or loaded fries.
Tropez featured the chicken satay and guests enjoyed a lovey glass of champagne
Acropolis- guest choose from any of the 13 appetizers which are all excellent
Renzo's - amazing assortment of house made desserts and coffee
Your $75.00 ticket included 3 adult beverages, 4 foods and dessert and coffee.
The ticket price also covers the tips for all of the wonderful wait staffs.
I hope that looking at it objectively you can see the value.

We took a food tour of Tampa with Tampa Bay Food Tours last year and liked it so much we booked another this year. This year we went to Dunedin through the same company, Our tour guide was Alex and he was great. He explained a lot about the history of Dunedin, it's founding and how it's working to meet the needs of it's growing population. We loved visiting and meeting with the owners of the small breweries, restaurants, and distilleries and sampling their products. Will definitely do another tour next year and I need to go back for more lobster pizza.

I have been on a few food tours now and I would have to say this was one of the better ones. Our group was capped at 13 and I really liked this number because I felt anymore would have overwhelmed the restaurants and some people would have gotten lost. We had (7) stops and the first four included alcohol(yasssss), the restaurants/brewery/distilleries were friendly and inviting, the samples were delicious and our group meshed well. I would liked have slightly more background on the area but that's my preference. I have plans to bring my husband back to do this tour and would recommend it to others. Thanks Kimberly!!

This is my second time doing this food tour, I just had to bring some friends back to experience it. My first tour was with Kimberly and I had no complaints, some of the offerings were different this time but just as yummy. My only con this time around is that we had a different guide and he wasn't as good as Kim. I believe Alex was new and still training so he'll learn. He can stand to walk slightly slower especially when there are elderly folks in the group and also to possible stop so the entire group can hear when he's sharing history about the area. Despite those very small nuances I would jump at a chance to do this tour yet again!!

Our guide was Heather. She was a wonderful guide who took us to 3 different restaurants with a final stop at a chocolate shop for dessert. All the restaurants were wonderful and the food was paired with wine/sangria. We got to taste chocolate wine at the chocolate shop. We really enjoyed this tour and will take it or another food tour with Tampa Bay Food Tours when we visit again. We highly recommend this tour.

I am very interested in getting this as a present for my mother for Christmas. But... we live in Michigan and she owns a restaurant so it’s almost impossible for me to choose a date for her. Is there a way to purchase a certificate for an open date for 2? Also do you cater to vegetarians? Thanks!

Hello, Yes you can purchase a gift certificate on our web site. Depending on the tour she selects $144 to $156 would cover two tickets. Gift certificates are good for any date or tour. The Dunedin Food Tour is $64.00 and visits 4 local restaurants and a brewery for craft beer. The Tampa Urban Food & Spirits has 4 food tastings, dessert and coffee and craft beer for $72.00. St. Pete and Dunedin Craft Beer and Bites Tours are also $65.00 and visit 4 breweries and some food. Hope to see you on a tour soon.
