These cats have been rescued from horrible conditions and now have the chance to live their lives in peace. You get a chance to see them in their lovely new, rescued homes.

I have visited here several times and always enjoyed it. It’s good to see that so many rescued animals are being well taken care of. This time, three of us took a private tour in a golf cart with BCR’s Barbara Nichols as our pleasant...More

Our family enjoyed seeing the big cats and hearing the stories of each animal. The animals are respected and their habitats are fantastic. We loved learning about how the cats are fed. I did think that the cost was a little high but if it...More

My feeding tour (one hour) at Big Cat Rescue (BCR) was the perfect break from my hectic holiday schedule during a stopover in Tampa. BCR is a sanctuary for cats that have been abused and neglected by circuses or roadside attractions or surrendered by private...More

I really enjoyed the tour. We got to make enrichment for the cats and then walked around meeting lots of the cats. I've been to better places, but I'm really glad I got to go on this tour and support such a noble organization. They...More

They have one tour that allows children. Your best bet is to call them. If you go to bigcatrescue org/tickets, you can see your options including the one with kids permitted. They can clarify if you call.

The one we like the best is the 9 AM Sat feeders tour. You get to see all the cats awake, looking to be fed and watching the caretakers feed them. It really is awesome.

Sandals are ok. Insects arent bad right now but bring repellant just in case. Bring sunscreen and hat.
