We visited Adventure Island on August 16, 2016. The park wasn't crowded at all so the kids were able to get on all the rides. The only part of the day that was a disappointment was the cabana service we received. We rent cabanas often when we go to water parks. When we checked in we were given a map... More

The place was average. We went on a Friday to avoid the crowds, so there was plenty of seating, and the lines were short. The only issue we had were bees constantly buzzing around us when we were sitting in the beach chairs. The food is over priced, but luckily you can bring in a small cooler. Also, if you... More

Great place for families with young kids and teenagers. My 13 year old loves it and goes with his friends all the time. It's a safe place for them to hang out and have a good time during the summer.

I took my 9 year old niece and my 4 year grand daughter. I was afraid that the 4 year old would not be able to ride many of the rides. She rode everything. We had such a great time. The park is kept very clean. we will be back.

We were looking for something to do on a hot day and decided to try this. We had a group of three that included ages from 28-60. We all had a great time. It was much bigger than we expected and very well kept. Great variety of slides for thrills and water for comfort. We'll be back.

Much quieter than its sister park aquatica but same high standards of safety and cleanliness and what it lacks in rides versus aquatica it more than makes up with a much better atmosphere

This is the second time we have visited this water park. It may appear slightly dated but is very clean and well looked after. There is a lazy river, wave pool and plenty of water slides/attractions. Be aware that it costs 15 dollars for carparking and 15 dollars to hire a locker which you will need. It is also only... More

We visited Adventure Island as we were staying at St Pete's Beach. We weren't sure what to expect based on some of the reviews on here. Well we loved it. It is clean, plenty of rides and not too busy (Friday 12th August). All staff I interacted with chatted to me. We have been to Typhoon Lagoon and Aquatica before... More

We were staying in Tampa for a week and the weather was miserable. Decided that if we went to a water park then it wouldn't matter if we got wet in any case. Also hadn't realized the Tampa schools had started early this year, so nearly had the park to ourselves. No queues on anything and no burning hot pathways... More

We had a great day here as a family. Not too busy so queues were short so we were able to ride everything loads of times. I have never seen something like the Everglades ride before. You drop down a really steep slope on a plastic sledge and then when you hit the water you skid/glide across the surface. Brilliant... More
