We had been told it was a "must visit" ---once the cigar capital of the world, and now Tampa's entertainment district, so we took the trolley from the waterfront to Ybor city to spend the afternoon...The cigar industry moved from Key West to Tampa more...More

Visited Ybor using the trolley bus and so glad we did. This is a lovely area of Tampa, filled with bars all serving food from all over, craft beers, huge choices of cocktails and spirits. Down on 7th avenue more coffee shops bars restaurants and...More

Had the look of the French Quarter but the pace seem deserted maybe its because we were there on a Monday around 2:00 o'clock. Watching the ladies roll the cigars was fun but other than that not much to do. Wouldn't go back and reall...More

For a place with an interesting history (the cigar industry of Key West moved here after an early 20th century hurricane) there is a great Cuban vibe to the place. OTOH, it's also been gentrified, with cutsey art galleries and shops. Worth an hour's walk.

Ybor City, great History Tour of the town, well presented by our tour guide. Ask for Max Herman. Ebor City Historic Walking Tours. Very interesting facts on how Ybor City started and grew quickly to become the Cigar manufacturing capital of the world. Well worth...More

Great New Orleans feel, so friendly and so much to see! I will be back for sure. We brought the whole family even our 8 month old baby. Loved it

This area is somewhat like a French Quarter feel, lots of bars to party at, and walk ways to enjoy but we didn't see much of it as we ran out of time. The staff friendly at the area bars, etc.

Great place to walk and people watch for all ages. So many places to eat it's difficult to choose! As the evening progressed the partying started. Different each part of the day. We needed way more than one evening to experience Ybor City properly.

Loved this area, lots of bars and restaurants and just a really good feel to it. We visited here every day we were in Tampa. Recommended

Cuban enclave outside Tampa - lively. Great walkability. Lots of shops, bars, restaurants to pop into along the way. Like an outdoor street party - it gets a little more wild after 10pm or so so judge accordingly. Ybor is a must see though!

And Tampa Sweethearts is another cigar place I like in Ybor. Not a bar but a pretty cool porch to sit on in front of the store and enjoy a coffee or espresso.

I have seen dogs on leashes but I would call the Florida Convention Center or Pirate Bay River Taxi. Someone there will be able to better assist you on rules and regulations. It's beautiful, enjoy!
