Took the trolley car ($5 all day ticket) from harbour island & spent a couple of hours exploring this little oasis of history. Wish we had more time but hopefully I get to return to learn more about it's importance in the birth of Cuba.

We only had half a day to explore Ybor city. We took the awesome little trolley to 15th street and we walked a couple blocks from there to site see. Lots of apparent homeless people with pets. Broke my heart but I'm hoping they're con artists instead of truly homeless. A few local artists, musicians lined the streets here and... More

The diversity makes Ybor City outstanding cool lunch restaurants with great inspiration from Cuba and south European countries. At night the area turns into a buffet of things to do. From lap dance to smooth jazz all in the area. The area is safe, tv surveillance and lots of police officers. Safety advice- stay between the two rails that runs... More

I would only visit during the day and with a group. Not for young families, especially with toddlers. Approached by transients that made the little ones uncomfortable and it put the adults on edge. It has a lot of history to offer but not a good learning environment

My parents and I explored this area while we were waiting for our flight. The concept is cool. This is where all of the cigar manufacturers used to be. But now the area just has a bunch of modern stores and restaurants.

Construction started at same time parade did and we couldnt even watch it. When I called the front desk to see what was happening i was treated with harsh words and hung up on because she was "to busy to deal with... More

Ybor has an interesting history which is easily visible once you arrive. A classic old style trace will get you there from downtown. There are lots of cigar outlets and people partaking in sampling them. There are also lots of clubs, bars and places to eat. Worth a short visit

Had been to Ybor during the month of Dec and the street was full of nostalgic air. This area looks different and smells different from typical American colonies. Loved the themed restaurant serving delicious food on your plate. The crowd is the attraction you should visit this place
