Great place to stroll during the day. Would not recommend going after dark or with young children. A little scary during the day as well. If you are into visiting a historical place you may enjoy but be aware of your surroundings!

This was my first time to Ybor city. It's a pretty cool section of the city with a lot of places to eat and little shops. I wish that I would have planned to take one of the tours. I feel there is a lot of history to learn. I would recommend one of the tours or go with someone... More

On our recent trip to Tampa, we were told Ybor (pronounced E-Bor) City is one of the area popular for night life and entertainment. We stopped by during Saturday afternoon. Walking the strip of the main area, we passed a lot of bars and restaurants which we imagined were pretty lively at night. It was getting pretty lively this particular... More

I love going to ybor. I do the full 7th Street walk each time. GASPAR GROTTO...TEQUILAS...HAM BURGER MARY'S...GAME ZONE...GREEN IGUANA...So many places to just sit, drink and people watch.

About your average downtown experience. Enough bars and clubs to satisfy most people's taste. Personally, The Castle is my favorite place to visit if I'm going to be clubbing in downtown Tampa.

Had a wonderful evening in the area. Visited the brewery pub, and a couple of good craft beer bars, on the same street as Columbia, where we ate, but booking essential. Big on nightlife.

Ybor City is an historic neighborhood in Tampa that has a long history, settlement from Cuba, cigar making, and is now an exciting place to visit for food, drink and entertainment. If you are staying in Downtown Tampa you can take the TECO Trolley to and from which saves having to drive or find a parking space plus it is... More
