We spent a few hours just walking around here during the day. Ybor is an interesting little city, meshed with various activities, eateries, and places to grab a drink. We had a lot of fun, saw an assortment of people and businesses and would definitely go back. It was neat to see the cigar shop, with employees hand- rolling cigars,... More

My wife and I frequent Ybor City I would say probably 1-2 times per month as we like the movie theater there because it is never too crowded. We park in the parking garage and walk through Centro Ybor and eat dinner at one of the non-chain restaurants and generally have a drink at one of the bars. Great people-watching... More

Visit, eat, drink, etc, at Ybor City in Tampa, FL. Reminiscent of Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Ybor City offers plenty of space, stores, shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife, etc, etc, to to spend an entire afternoon and evening exploring and having fun. Try it and you'll agree. Once you get to Hamburger Mary's go to the outside deck and let... More

Ybor City used to be Tampa's nigh club hot spot. It isn't really that anymore. There are still a few decent clubs, and some good restaurants - especially the famous Columbia Restaurant - but it isn't nearly as active as it was 10 years ago.

Very quaint area consisting of about 4 blocks x 6 blocks. Cuban food, restaurants, many, many bars and interesting history. We went during lunch but judging by the number of bars and restaurants it looks like there is quite a nightlife here.

It's a great place for LGBT community! They have all sort of places, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, etc. Make sure to go arround 10 pm, if you go before, you are gonna find the place kind of dead. But at 10 pm the party starts!

The growth of Ybor City is phenomenal. There was a time when you went here to get good cigars and not much more. Today it is a bustling location for walking, living and eating a short distance from Tampa. People live here and can ride the trolley to work in parts of downtown Tampa without all the traffic that any... More

Prior to this visit to Ybor City, I had no idea of the historical importance of this part of Tampa. Ybor City is significant for an understanding of Cuban-American history, the cigar industry in the US and the role of immigrants from Cuba and other parts of the world in the labor movement. No visit to Tampa would be complete... More

Ybor city is very diverse. Lots of good restaurants and clubs. The atmosphere of ybor city is crazy/fun on the weekends. I've been to tampa, FL twice and both times have hung out in Ybor. It is a great social setting if you are looking to just hang out and have drinks at a bar or want to go out... More
