The florida aquarium is pretty small. One could spend a couple of hours wondering around. For kids this place will be great adventure but not a whole day experience. The shows during the day are mostly kids oriented but still interesting.

This is a really nice aquarium, small but lots of species of fish, a great cafeteria, lots of parking close by, reasonable contribution, usually small or no lines. My grandchildren ages 11,12,13,15 & 16 all love to. Come here & make it an all day trip. Souvenirs are reasonably priced also.

Purchased the aquarium tickets/ dolphin cruise combo and were not disappointed! One of our favorite parts was the aviary being open to let the birds fly around. The only disappointment was the penguin chat. Staff was only able to bring out 1 penguin, but we were able to take a picture.

We visited here as part of the city pass. We arrived early on a weekday, and of course it was not crowded. There were some nice hands on exhibits for the kids, and the other exhibits were nice as well. There were 2 main paths to take through the aquarium, and we were pretty much finished in about 2 1/2... Everyone raved about this aquarium. Very clean and interesting, but, only took about an hour to go through.

While this was a nice way too spend an afternoon, it was not as good as I had hoped. There were numerous fish that can be seen in Florida waters, but nothing wowed. There were no Whales, seals, otters or penguins like many other aquariums have. There is also a six dollar parking fee, as well as admission.

Nice and lots to see, like a big aquarium, but lots of opportunities to get close to the animals like smaller aquariums. Big birds are flying loose over head in part. I thought it was neat, but I know some people wouldn't.

Beautiful and nice Aquarium. Nice for kids because they can interact with some birds touch rays and it is a comfortable and secure place.

My boyfriend and I popped into the aquarium last January while killing time before a flight back home. As we entered, an employee offered to store our suitcases for us which was VERY much appreciated! We enjoyed looking around at the different exhibits, and the sting ray touch tank was very neat. A feeding had just been completed in one... More
