Excellent experience. Do not have anything to compare it to as this was my first jump. But, I cannot imagine a much better experience. They instilled confidence and made it entertaining. Would do it again in a heartbeat. My daughter, who jumped with me, had a similar experience.

Wow, just wow! This was such a great experience and hope to go again. This was on my bucket list for a while and finally had a chance while visiting the Keys. I was impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and shear enthusiasm of the whole team. I called to make a reservation and while I was still on the phone I got a text to confirm. Check in was quick and efficient. Sean, my tandem coach was assume! Wasn't quite ready for the first second or two out of the plane, but that changed real quick. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

We saw parachutes while driving south on US-1, and decided to visit Key West Skydive office to get information. After speaking with a very nice representative, we were told we could go up right away. (😳) It was a gorgeous, cloudless day, so my daughter and I said, “Let’s go for it!” (I’m 57 and she’s 20) Within about 30 minutes, we were outfitted, paired with our skydive companion and boarding a Cessna type plane at the runway nect to office site. Our companions were: high energy, polite, answered every question, experienced, fun and great teachers. They definitely helped us feel less scared about jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. After tightening our tandem harnesses we met our pilot and started our ascent (10-11,000 feet?) via our plane ride, which was fun in its own right. As we circled our way up, both our expert companions explained every step of the jump process and also pointed out some ground features and landmarks. Let me say, seeing the area of Key West from the plane was phenomenal! There were a million shades of blue and green. The sky was so clear, you could see for miles. When it came time to jump, there was a blast of wind as the side door was opened, you put a foot outside on a black step and away you go (with expert assistance). Being my first time jumping, I screamed during the free-fall. It’s a rush! It wasn’t very cold up there, like I thought it might be. My companion jumper (Walker) took some exciting 4-K video during the actual jump, too. While free-falling, he got me to loosen my white-knuckle grip on my harness long enough for a “thumbs-up” video shot. When our chute opened, Walker took off my goggles for me. This part was definitely more relaxing as we gently floated around to our landing zone. At this point, Walker allowed me to control our turns, too. Our landing was well executed and soft. Afterwards, I felt exhilarated and a HUGE sense of accomplishment for controlling my fear. The staff took some more video and then drove us back to the office to watch our video on high-def TV. My advice…Bring some extra money for the videos and t-shirts. You earned it. Would I do it again? Yes! If you go, wear sneakers. I’d also wear a long-sleeve t-shirt and joggers rather than my Jimmy Buffet collared button down and Sanuks (we had not planned on sky-diving…lol). It’s a once in a lifetime kind of memory.

Absolutely great staff that was very professional and experienced. Great equipment, flexible hours and jump schedules, which made it super easy to do it last minute. Overall amazing place to skydive, I'll be back for sure as soon as I can!
