Captain Larry is awesome. We just bought a boat and hired him to teach us how to operate it. He is very knowledgeable of the keys. He is patient and stays calm while you are learning. I would recommend him to anyone with little knowledge or no knowledge on how to operate your boat. I’m sure we will be calling him in the near future for more lessons.

Larry and Dorothy are AMAZING. They came to the rescue when my dad got our boat stranded on Snipe Point lol. They made the ride there and gave us such a great experience on the way home telling us all about the area and the beauty of Sugarloaf. If you ever shipwreck your boat, take that as a sign that you should've booked Native Guidance instead haha!

We had two amazing trips with Captain Larry! One trip was for swimming, sunning and snorkeling near Marvin Key, and the other was a fishing trip. The Captain knows all of the best spots, and his first mate, Dorothy, was fun and engaging. This was total relaxation for us. Good birding, fishing and nature trips. In spite of some windy and then rainy weather, we all enjoyed ourselves thouroughly! Native Guidance gets 5 stars from us! We will definitely be back.

So GRATEFUL that Captain Larry & Dorothy for an AMAZING DAY! Their incredible knowledge and experience made it truly the highlight of our trip and a day we will remember for all the days of our lives.
From walking Marvin Key and marveling at the gorgeous views, incredible beaches, and abundant wildlife, their love and reverence for the area was evident as they shared the hilights of their beautiful area with us. They were fantastic & gracious hosts!
The day was picture perfect!
The views phenomenal!
The wildlife included watching a whole pod of dolphin frolic and play, watching Osprey call to each other, seeing numerous skates and rays, all while enjoying time together, great food and drinks and the comforts of the pontoon.
Can't thank them nearly enough for the amazing memory!

Truly the best lower keys experience. Captain Larry is the gold standard on the water experience and Dorothy the best firstmate. We had family and friends and visited Marvin Key on the pontoon. Larry planned the trip around the tides so we had most of the day with beautiful white sand beach. Not a huge horseshoe guy but loved playing but couldn't beat the man. Just go. Larry will become a member of the family and you'll return every time. Even though we have our own boat in the keys Larry is a must do. Over 100 five star reviews and not a single one lower says it all. Thanks Larry!

What can I say! 5th girls trip charter with Captain Larry and his first mate DoroSea. Always the highlight of our girls tripp to the lower keys. Absolutely stunning back country. Birds, dolphins, sharks, rays....and the most beautiful secluded beaches. Larry is so knowledgeable and respectful of this special area. No trip to the lower keys is complete without experiencing this absolutely gorgeous place aboard Captain Larry's awesome pontoon.

We arrived to the boat at 10 and set a course to Marvin Key. It is a fantastic nature viewing ride with birds, native creatures and the occasional DOLPHIN sighting. Once you arrive at marvin Captain Lary will bring out horseshoes and challenge you to a game or 3. Marvin has little walking trails and a beach with some of the finest golf sand. Wonderful lifelong memories will be made. Wear lots of sunscreen and bring water shoes if you would like to explore in the water around the island.

Captain Larry and his first mate Dorothy gave us an amazing tour of the Florida Keys. Larry grew up in the Keys and knows his way to any Key. Dorothy is the sweetest!
If you have never been to a Keys sandbar or done a trip through the mangroves- thus us something to see. What a great experience!
Larry can recommend the best trip for you and your loved ones. You will have a great time. We did.

Captain Larry is awesome!! He knows all the great spots and is really knowledgeable about the local wildlife. We had a great day on Marvin Key, hanging with all the locals who were visiting the same spot. we explored the vast sand bars and played horse shoes in the gulf Captain Larry, The Greatest Pirate on Sugarloaf Key!!

Returned to the Keys eight years later for another adventure in paradise with Captain Larry and Dorosea. We started at high tide and they took us on an amazing boat tour of the backcountry where we spotted sharks, stingrays, schools of fish, herons and egrets, and the alluring colors of the waterways through the mangrove channels to the Gulf. Then, as the tide went out, Captain Larry took us to Marvin Key. Marvin Key is a small island surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal clear water.. We snorkeled with seven lemon sharks - they were days old - and we were all delighted to see them so close up. We picnicked at a lagoon there. Our most spectacular experience was exploring an area called the cap rock where the tide was receding. It was like nothing we have ever experienced before; there were continuous streams cascading over the rocks into tide pools. It was visual poetry. A must-experience. We hiked around the small key and floated, did more snorkeling, and enjoyed a perfect day. Thank you Dorosea and Captain Larry for yet another stellar day in paradise. We appreciate you both and hope to return again soon.
