We went on a Wed. for their farm market at 3 when they opened. They have a handful of local growers and a local meat vendor. They offered homemade cheese, beautiful fresh baked bread, sauces, honey and some incredible gluten free snacks and granola. The had great community gardening space in the back and offer some great community events. The market is indoors.

Ground Floor Farm is a real gem in the Stuart community. The menu changes every month with seasonal produce that they grow with great care in their garden - amazing food, full of flavour and nicely arranged on your plate! While waiting for your order, do make sure to have a walk in their garden and if possible, have a chat with farmer Mike! You can learn a lot from him ˆ_ˆ

Had lunch there and enjoyed two salads and two pizzas for 3 people. The salads were amazingly fresh - straight from the garden out back and we had the flower pizza, which was great. After lunch we toured the garden, which was interesting. There is also a market that had excellent produce and a few other products. If I lived locally, I would definitely have gotten some lettuce, chard, etc. Extremely vegetarian friendly.

As of early February, 2020 the restaurant and bar is PERMANENTLY CLOSED AND BOARDED UP although the farm is still operating. Information from a former employee is that the place was bought by a conglomerate that has bought several other similar establishments for possible reincarnation.

Ground Floor Farm is simultaneously an urban farm , a green market , a social gathering spot , a live music hub and a really cool eatery rolled into one.
Decor is comfy eclectic with a extremely cool art deco antique wood bar that spans almost an entire huge wall as you walk into the main space. There’s a spacious patio out back which affords an expansive view of the farming operation.
Ground Floor Farm Cafe has a deliciously eclectic assortment of offerings in it’s farm-to-table cafe. The ingredients in their salads and other dishes are always exceedingly fresh and the combinations offered are usually adventures for the taste buds.
My GFF favorites are the Lemony Kale salad, the Mediterranean Lentil Bowl and the Mariana Pizza. The homemade personal size pizzas are the latest addition to their menu and are absolutely out of this world.
This place is extremely kid friendly. It’s a GREAT place to take a large group of family or friends because there are all sizes of tables and the staff there are very accommodating. Our extended family is very large and we frequently dine there with 12 people ( or more ) and have never had a problem getting family style seating.
They serve a nice assortment of beer, wine and homemade teas.
The Green market section sells a variety of fresh baked bread, cheeses, seasonal veggies, jams , jellies , honey, chocolate, candles - you name it , you can probably find it there.

These guys are the real deal. Their commitment to local, sustainable food production is not a gimmick for them, it's a whole business model. The flavors and freshness on offer at their cafe are like nothing I've ever seen before. Not to mention that every time I walk through their doors, it feels like a second home: warm and homey, and their staff always seem happy to see me. Where else can you stroll the grounds before your meal and literally see where your food comes from?

This is an unusual farm to table eatery because the farm is right outside the door. You are able to walk around outside and see everything growing, even visit the chickens.
The wine selection is good and the food is well prepared and delicious. Definitely give Ground Floor Farm a try, you won't be disappointed.

This venue started out as a small, urban farm, and somehow launched into a food establishment. This was the first time eating there, and have agreed that there is plenty of room for improvement.
It is a lovely setting, and they have made this drab building inviting.
My husband and I were there for a weekday lunch. I had the Mediterranean lentil bowl, and he had the udon soup. His udon was delicious, my bowl on the other hand needed some improvement.
This was not really a "bowl", it was basically baby lettuces and small, petite french lentils, with a little eggplant dip on top for $13.50!!! NO other veggies, could they have thrown a radish in there? Tomato? Cucumber?
The vessel which this SALAD was served in was entirely TOO small, basically it was a small stainless steel mixing bowl (very small). Every time you took a bite, either lettuce or lentils fell onto the table. I can't imagine how cumbersome it would have been if I had added chicken or an egg, it would have been ridiculous.
The dressing was tasty, but this salad was way over dressed. Who wants a pool of dressing in the bottom of your salad? Lettuce should just glisten when dressed properly, this lettuce was soaked and had already started to wilt from being drenched. The eggplant dip was tasty, just wish there was more of it.
I asked for a piece of bread and you would have thought by the servers look that I had a third eye in the middle of my forehead. I was given one very, very small piece of bread tucked into the side of the salad. Not very pleasing.
All this for $32!

I'm a huge fan of organic, local food, and the reviews were great so I was excited to visit this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the farm salad, which I thought would be hearty with a variety of vegetables, a couple of farm-fresh poached eggs, and a healthy tahini dressing. The salad was beautiful, but far from hearty. It had a couple of cups of field greens, and a thinly sliced radish--no other vegetables. The eggs were good and perfectly done, but the tahini dressing was made with canola oil--odd choice for a health food restaurant. In short, the salad wasn't filling or tasty aside from the eggs. On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant and my server was nice. Others in the restaurant seemed to like their food, so maybe I just got the wrong dish.

Went to lunch with a friend and thought it was great. What’s not to love about a place with its own little farm, a long bar taken out of Radio City Music Hall, a great daily farmers’ market and food you’ll love. Instead of a tired mission statement, they have an ethos: we swerve what we like to eat, and, bit, is that right. We had a grilled cheese with jackfruit jam, couscous with wild shrimp and arugula and two homemade sodas, mine made with jackfruit.
