WONDERFUL. Capt. Nancy was informative and a gracious host. 2 1/2 hr tour - we saw dolphins, manatees, and so so many birds. All through, she shared information about the ecosystem, sealife diversity, environmental challenges, and bird protections. My husband and a friend and I loved every minute. Capt Nancy even passed around a magnifier with samples of microscopic live sealife from the estuary waters, collected while we were touring. This was much more than a boat tour, it was a terrific and enjoyable way to learn more about the beautiful waters in the area. My husband is a photographer and he had a blast. We love roseate spoonbills, they're hard to find, but not here on Nancy's tour. She kept the number of passengers limited so she could fully engage and we'd have plenty of room to move from side to side to see what she was describing. Beautiful and relaxing sunset tour!

Very enjoyable and informative. Grandchildren 7-14 were all kept interested, as were the parents and grandparents.

Beyond the joy of a boat ride among beautiful scenery, you will also learn about the wildlife and ecological diversity of the area. You will see many majestic species of birds, and maybe dolphins & manatees too! This tour was wonderful

My wife and I went on an intimate 6 person sunset pontoon boat cruise with Captain Nancy out of Pirate Cove in Stuart and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nancy has been a Certified Master Naturalist for over 20 years and weaves the story of the Indian River Lagoon and South Florida environment as you cruise to and from the magnificent Bird Island. She definitely help you understand the water issues in south Florida (red tide, green algae and more) and what can be done to address them. The highlight was parking next to Bird Island in the Lagoon for over an hour to enjoy many different species of the over 3,000 birds that roost there nightly. Light was great as the setting sun was at our back making for excellent photos. Refreshments including wine, soft drinks and appetizers were served while at anchor. Did get many great pics including red egrets and large frigates that are less common in most areas. Our cruise companions had 2 young adults (high school and college) that enjoyed the trip. Nancy activism helped get Bird Island designated as a sanctuary for wildlife 3 years ago with clear signage indicating people are not permitted to go ashore. Sunset pics on the cruise back to Pirate Cove were an extra bonus.

I have never been on such a fabulous tour. We have been on many tours but Nancy has certainly raised the bar. This was so informative, she is so knowledgeable about wildlife and the entire ecosystem in this part of Florida. Her passion made the trip the best ever. We will certainly return each time we go back to fl.
