I would highly recommend The Flavor Excursion food tour! I went with my family ranging in age 23-80, there were several people that had food allergies. Jason was very communicative with me prior to the tour and was very helpful in helping me make the booking. Jason made sure he understood everyone’s food allergies and worked with all the vendors to make the accommodations. On the day of the tour we were greeted by Laura and Jason and were immediately seated at our first stop. Laura was an amazing hostess through out the tour and provided us with lots and lots of interesting history. She was also very patient with our group, since we all knew each other, and also moved at different rates, it sometimes was tricky for her to know how much or how little information to give. Our group was diverse I. The fact some of us would call ourselves foodies, others are typically very picky eaters and don’t try new items. Everyone even the self proclaimed picky eaters enjoyed trying new things and loving the experience. I have been on several other city food tours and this one was much more personalized. I would highly recommend doing this food tour for anyone looking to get a good historical walking tour of Stuart and enjoy some very tasty food along the way. It truly is 2 tours in 1.

After living in Stuart for almost 30 years I was delighted to learn and explore the history of this amazing little town. From the big characters, passionate artists and unique history there is no lack of originality and interest on this adventure tour. Laura, our guide was so friendly and informative. She highlighted the beauty of the city and river while also bringing awareness to legacy of eco activism here. Retracting Stuart's colorful past, we weaved off the beaten path through quaint alleys and secret gardens. As a local, I am so impressed. The food, the tour, guide and its content was top notch and I recommend it to anyone who dares to explore downtown at its finest. They cater too food allergies and for being a larger person I had no issue with the walking. There were plenty of spots to use bathroom and cool off along the way.

We booked a 10-person tour as an activity for our family reunion and it did not disappoint. We learned all about the history of Stuart and got to taste some delicious food. The food was so delicious, it was hard to choose which one was best. Our tour guide, Laura, was very knowledgable and easy to hear. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves history and/or trying great food.

The delicious food was an equal rivalry for the historical summary shared by our amazing tour guide Laura(hope I spelled her name correctly,) She was very pleasant and hospitable and made the tour most enjoyable. Our favorite food was the Ahi Tuna Taco served with the She-Crab Soup, but honestly everything was absolutely delicious. The tuna was extremely fresh and outstanding and the soup had generous portions of crab meat. The goat cheese croquette was exceptional selection as well and should receive honorable mention. I highly recommend this tour to fellow foodies out there. You will not be disappointed. The walk around town is very relaxing, informative and all around delightful and the food portions just right, you leave relaxed and satisfied.

We loved this tour. Laura was a great guide and made the time go quickly with her great history of the area, even introducing the owner of one of the restaurants we went to who had a great story to tell about renovating his place when they first got it.
I should have probably asked for more info on the food to be served as we had two very finicky eaters with us and they skipped some of food at a few stops....the food however was amazing so it was their loss.

The Flavor Excursion is a fantastic food tour that really explores the heart and history of Stuart. I have lived in south Florida for 30 years and I learned a lot about this area and more importantly, I learned about a bunch of new phenomenal restaurants! The food was great, and you left feeling satisfied but not overfull (which is great in my opinion).
This tour does have a bit of walking, probably around 2 miles, but it is broken up into small sections so any age range should be able to manage it no problem. Our group had people of all ages ranging from 30 to 70 years old and everyone had a blast!
A lot of the food on this tour is locally sourced so you are really helping the community by visiting these restaurants. I am planning on going back to all these restaurants in the future.

This was a fantastic food tour! Laura, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the history and stories of the area. The food was absolutely delicious - I'm still dreaming about the ahi nachos at our second stop! Stuart is a really cute little Florida town with a lot of history and really good restaurants. Make this a must-do for your trip to Stuart or Port St. Lucie!

Wonderful experience! We are Floridan's looking for something new to do with our teenage daughters. The walking tour was very enjoyable along the intracoastal and all of the food tastings were delicious. We did the drink package which featured local/seasonal ingredients. Laura, our guide was awesome, we learned a-lot about Stuart and what the local restaurants are doing to help the community and sustainability. The guides were also very accommodating to food allergies and intolerances. Will not disappoint and I will definitely look to do on next vacation again!

This was my family’s first food tour. The guide Laura, was very informative. There were 10 of us. She gave a good historical overview of Stuart which is a quaint waterside town. She explained the economy is based on sustainability and utilizing local natural resources.
The tour had 5 stops with great food at all. I was too full to finish the final stop’s food. I would take another food tour. It was a great experience.
