Nice restrooms, quiet & relaxing. The area is tricky to get into, but parking was available to those who get there early.

This beach got great reviews but I am not sure why. Lots of crushed shells made for uncomfortable walking, there was very little beach available at high tide and there was a steep drop off to the water. Have been to lots of better beaches

Such a nice area and great views. Able to walk all along and great places to stay right off the beach. Would highly recommend is Beach if you come to the area!

Perfect way to spend an afternoon reading and listening to the water. There’s plenty of shade, and plenty of sun. The waves are big! Loved all the wildlife.

My first trip fishing in the ocean from the shore and it was amazing. Not the best day for catching but it didn't matter because the waves were beautiful and the colors stunning. Watching surfers, beach combing, and playing in the sand more than made...More

Every major storm seems to wipe out this fun kids beach. The water tends to be shallow, ideal for little ones. BUT, check, because it seems like it is closed more than open.

Good beach for a walk or swim. The bathtub part washed away years ago so it is a bit of a disappointment. So it goes!

Just down the road from the House of Refuge, this lovely little beach is different in that there is an underwater reef ~100 yards out (depending on tide), which breaks the waves before they get to shore reducing their size. This means it's great for...More

I doubt it - the parking area is quite small and would be difficult to park an RV there. There are bathrooms located in the parking lot, but no food or drink available on site.

Sea creatures live in the sea. They have no boundaries or fences. They roam in the sea. You find them in the water. It is a big ocean.
