Don't come during Lake Okeechobee discharges into the St Lucie River as it brings toxic blue green algae to this beach as it is next to the inlet. Once a thriving unique reef is now dead due to the pollution from excess agriculture runoff water....More

It is a nice beach but after the hurricane parking is limited. They have to replensih the sand after most storms

We spent the day at Bath Tub Reef Beach on 2 days and found it to be great. Facilities are close. One of the days was very windy but there were areas that were more protected and made it much more enjoyable to be on...More

Reef protects the shore from pounding Atlantic surf. Great if you have small children. Unfortunately, parking area is currently closed due to construction, but you can access the beach from the next parking area north.

Beach is unique and is great for kids. Low tide offers tidal pools to explore. The biggest draw back is the parking. It’s very limited. I have tried to go several times and couldn’t because there were no Parking spots.

There is limited parking for this beach, and currently it is closed for restoration. The county seems to have brought in more sand, but it’s not accessible. Tip: if you park before the beach, there is another landing that you can get around to enjoy...More

Years ago...36 to be exact when I first moved here this was the beach to go to. The reef was beautiful and full of life, it had a generous parking area, snorkeling was perfect. Now...it’s a sad reminder of climate change and humans. The reef...More

I really wanted to visit this beach, but sad to say no parking for now. It's located along a very narrow road that is currently seeing new home growth with what parking is available being used by the local contractors. My guess is at least...More

There is an open air shower right next to the parking lot to rinse off, but probably not good for a full shower. Also at the far end of the parking lot are large Port-o-lets. There is not a bathhouse or indoor restrooms.
