For a long time the Pickled Parrot was a punch line when visiting my 100 plus Aunt in Spring Hill. Sadly we can no longer cast aspersions on the quality of the Parrot, it has closed. The sign is down and a legacy has ended.
The air is rough, the drinks are okay ... but if you're into people-watching, why not. I wouldn't plan a night here, but if things are quiet and you just want to see what makes Florida Florida ... get pickled.

Stopped in after dinner. We had fun. There was a band playing. The staff was friendly. We had the entire dance floor to ourselves. The drinks prices were reasonable. If we are ever in the area again we will go back.
