Small beach but very shallow calm water for kids

Small beach but very shallow calm water for kids. Great spot to launch kayaks too. There is a parking fee of $5/car, a small restaurant and shower facilities.

We live a little north of Pine Island but visit here frequently. It's beautiful and peaceful and always see dolphins. There is a $5 parking fee. Nice place to picnic or have a small birthday party. The water is shallow for little ones to play in safely.

Nice little park with a small, sandy beach. Lots of birds, some space to picnic and play in the sand. Not worth planning a major trip to visit but nice for a short stop.

Not a very large park but nice. The beach and facilities are well maintained. It is a tidal area so the water is generally shallow for a large part of the day. There are some covered picnic tables for sunny days. The showers are the standard outside type with good pressure. There is a snack stand on site. Pay for... More

Gorgeous place to watch the sunset. Benches available, nice shack to get some soft drinks and some amazing views when the sun goes down Good facilities for a day at the beach too.

I'm not sure which was worse, the drunken groups of people blaring music and screaming profanities, or the amount of trash and litter everywhere. We couldn't even stay for the sunset, the local people ruined that peaceful experience for us.

Great for a family day out, just don't look for deep water or waves. They have a snack shack, kids play ground, a small pier, cookout facilities, lots of beach area, some fishing area and the palm trees offer some shade. Nice place. Parking is like two dollars I think.

This man made beach boasts a playground, picnic shelters, restrooms, shower and snack bar. Great setting for a beach wedding or watching the sunset.

A man made beach, perfect for small children. Lots of sandy beach, no waves, a few shells. Good but expensive snack bar. Clean restrooms. You can also bring a kayak and look around in the saw-grass tidal flats, or fish off one small area.
