Nice beach that's close by, easy to get to. Good place to relax, spend the day and watch the sunset.

Not exactly a place for swimming, but if you enjoy sun bathing and a nice place to bring the family, then this is the spot. Come early because parking is limited.

This is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset with your family. Plus there is a cute playground for small children to play.

This is a maintained smaller beach in Hernando county. There are vendors there to provide drinks or snacks. There are pavilions w/tables to use for an impromptu picnic. The beach is small.. but it is peaceful and well maintained by the parks department. There is...More

THE place to go for sunsets. Not many places near Spring Hill to see the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. This is the best. We like to take our visitors out Shoal Line Dr and stop at Laura Pederson Park on the way. Then...More

I didn’t have free parking. They charge parking at all beaches in Florida that I’ve visited. I assume it’s to care for the beaches since there is no State income tax.
