This is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset with your family. Plus there is a cute playground for small children to play.

This is a maintained smaller beach in Hernando county. There are vendors there to provide drinks or snacks. There are pavilions w/tables to use for an impromptu picnic. The beach is small.. but it is peaceful and well maintained by the parks department. There is...More

THE place to go for sunsets. Not many places near Spring Hill to see the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. This is the best. We like to take our visitors out Shoal Line Dr and stop at Laura Pederson Park on the way. Then...More

We saw a beautiful sunset. This is a very clean park. Plenty of concrete sidewalks to stroll if you don't want to walk in the sand. Perfect spot to watch the sunset!

Took daughter and young grandson visiting from out of town, wanted to go to the beach. Nice playground area, snack bar with food, soft drinks and ice cream. Friendly service and plenty of parking.

Yes it's the gulf...no it's not like the beaches to the south..water is too shallow..but great for the kids to play in..and okay to put a sand chair in the water and catch some rays..food and beverages can be purchases..I think there is grilling area

We went here for an evening stroll after being cooped up indoors whist it rained all day. Had a lovely walk along the sand and onto what looks like a new deck area (looked different to the one there two years ago?) the beach boards...More

Have only visited twice and would not consider returning. Too many no see ums, got bitten all over both times. Parking is extremely limited. It may be that bugs don't like me, but if they don't bother you, it's ok for a quick dip and...More

Has a snack bar, outside showers, bathrooms, playgroung, beautiful beach shelters with grills, plenty of parking. Every time we go, we see dolphins. Highly recommend! But get there early, on weekends, spaces fill up quick. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Handicapped accessible. Sidewalks

I didn’t have free parking. They charge parking at all beaches in Florida that I’ve visited. I assume it’s to care for the beaches since there is no State income tax.

Weddings have been performed there. I think you have to contact a local wedding planner to arrange this sort of thing. Not sure if you can contact the park directly.
