Excellent staff, very helpful in getting the bike right for the rider. Easy pick up and delivery. The bikes we got were e-bikes and they were in great shape. We got the e-bikes thinking we would just use those to get around, but going to Sarasota from Siesta Key requires a car because the traffic is so thick. There is a Trolley up and down Siesta Key, thus getting the bike for more than a day at a time is probably too much. The best bike path is Legacy Trail, and that is over in Sarasota, and I wish I had my car to drive the bikes over to the trail. If so, I would have ridden that trail every day.

Great company to rent from. Our family had a fantastic and affordable day kayaking and fishing off of turtle beach reserve. Florida was weather was perfect for a day on the water this is the third time we’ve rented from the company and each time they outperform kayaks were clean and prepared for us when we are arrived so nice not to have to tote our own kayaks around we just call and reserve and the kayak are already when we arrive.

My wife and I rented eBikes and rode the Legacy trail from Sarasota to Venice and back on 3/16/23. We were absolutely delighted with our experience! From making the reservation at Siesta Key to picking up the bikes at their warehouse next to the trail, everyone was helpful and enthusiastic. As long time road bikers, we were very impressed with the thorough orientation Lance provided for the eBikes. The check in process was efficiently handled by Renee. The both provided a wealth of advice and information. Unlike other eBike rentals we examined, this company doesn’t limit your time on the daily rental and does not charge a delivery fee! We will not rent from anyone else!

We rented a tribe two seater perception kayak for a week. It's way better than doing tour$. We went islands with beaches, the sand bars all the tours visit, and I fished every morning. We saw dolphins up close and countless other wildlife. They only charged me $20 for an extra day and then didn't pick it up on Sunday. Thanks!

Lance and the rest of the staff could not have been more accommodating. Service and personal touch were A+. We had 4 bikes and a 2 person kayak and all worked perfectly, but the service really puts them over the top. I highly recommend them!

We reserved by phone with credit card info a day or two before, the exact kind and size of kayak we wanted. Mark was waiting for us at the launch site for departure and return. He helped us get settled and out on the return. We have used this company over a period of years, but the last two were interrupted by Covid, Red Tide and other weather conditions. If you like to Kayak, or just want to do something different for a day to enjoy the water, then this is a no brainer with limited responsibility.

Not only a high quality bicycle fitted perfectly to me but this place has service that goes above and beyond. My husband and I both rented bikes here to ride on the Legacy Trail and around Myakka State Park and boy we sure had a ball. The staff fitted with us with high quality 21 speed bikes, loaded them into our vehicle and charged a fair price. I came back a few weeks later when my stay was extended due to family illness and got an even better bike this time that had super shocks both on the front end and rear end of the bike. The speeds moved seamlessly and I ventured to places I'd never been. Best therapy ever and I got a nice discount for paying cash. I ended up asking them to pick my bike up at a place they don't usually go but they agreed and were so flexible. You won't regret doing business with these guys!

We rented a stand up paddle board from them over Labor Day weekend for two days. They’re pricing was reasonable and the best part was they delivered it right to our resort and picked it up when we were done. We will defiantly use them again when we are in the area.

Another great rental from Siesta Key Bike and Kayak which we were able to do online! We have rented bikes from them the last few years while on vacation. We rented Hybrid bikes (21 speed) we were fine using just 7 speeds, for my husband and myself. Included helmets, locks and lights. They delivered our bikes to Lido Key for an additional $100 delivery/pickup charge. (We needed to call them to arrange the delivery - as that was not available online). The bikes were in great condition. The staff is friendly and contacted us about where our bikes were delivered locked up. We will continue to rent from Siesta Key Bike and Kayak on our annual return to the area. We recommend them highly.

Every part of our experience was excellent from the easy online booking to Mark getting us set up with our double kayak at Turtle Beach and providing us with a map, dry bag, etc. We saw a “tail flap” from a manatee, lots of jumping fish and birds and enjoyed scoping out the beach indicated on the map. Very fun experience and we plan to book with these guys again the next time we are in town!

Are their any age limits for kayaking?

No age on the kayaks, everyone 18 and older have to sign a waiver and anyone under 18 just have to have parent or guardian sign for them. VERY easy! Call the shop or stop in to reserve.

Late answer but they will bring your kayak to your condo and you can go in the ocean or the inter-coastal waterway

$28 for a single sit in, $40 for a double sit in, and $40 for a paddle board. for those prices you can have them from 9am untill 430pm or anything in between. Hope to see you out here soon! We have been seeing manatees almost everyday!
