Beautiful awesome store. However, we are all on edge with COVID but I had a horribly inappropriate experience with the manager and store owner. I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. CDC specifically recommends people with my condition do not wear masks. I walked in to the store without a mask (my entire group but me was wearing one). I was asked to leave even though I explained it was a medical condition - disappointing but ok. As I was leaving with my family who supports me for standing up for my medical rights the manager of the store (who allowed other patrons to walk around the store with masks below chins and noses) told me I was selfish. Incredibly inappropriate in front of my family.

They cancelled a book signing because they didn’t like a book, “Republicans Buy Sneakers Too” and it’s author, Clay Travis, sports talk radio host. I will never set foot in this haughty place again.

If you are into locally owned one of a kind book stores then you are in for a treat here! Great selection of southern and national authors with one of a kind books. We walked in for just a quick drop in and found ourselves there 45 minutes later. Friendly staff and located right in the heart of things in Seaside square. Love this place!!

My 10 year old son and his cousin asked to get a book to read on the beach but the only words spoken to us as we entered were “mask up, boys”.

Shocking to find a bookstore this nice in a resort area. Bibliophiles should not miss it. A pleasure even just to look in on.

Independent bookstore in the heart of Seaside! What could be better? Whether you need a vacation read or simply need something new, you will find it here, along with an amazing nostalgic atmosphere.

My daughter loves this bookstore, great young adult section, staff is very knowledgeable on authors you like and suggest other authors you might like. We visit every time we are in Seaside.

This is a unique bookstore with small treasures everywhere. I enjoyed visiting this store and spent hours rummaging through their treasures.

We visit SEASIDE at least once a year and the SUNDOG always on the agenda. Very unique and interesting bookstore and gift shop & greeting cards & never fail to come away with a bag full. Be sure to include in your visit to SEASIDE even if just a "stop and see"

It's so rare anymore to find a great independent bookstore, let alone on 30-A. But this is just an addictive throw-back you'll love to experience when you're at Seaside. We must all hope places like this stop disappearing. You'll be amazed at the variety in this bookstore -- they pack a TON in a fairly small space. And there are lots of fun little things to discover. Also, if you're a fan of 30-A they have ALL the books on the topic, many of which have ended up on our coffee table.
