Kayaking with Chris!!

What a day!! I arrived at the park and easily parked and found my guide Chris who works for Paradise Adventures. Our group walked down to the water were our kayaks awaited us. Chris helped everyone get into their kayaks and out on the water. He gave those of us who needed it a how to paddle lesson and off we go! We paddled out and Chris spots dolphins in the distance, we follow him and get our first glimpse of dolphins! We move on to paddle around a small island on the right and beautiful homes on the left. Chris talks about the area and all the birds we see, including the cormorants that swim under and around our kayaks looking for fish to eat. We head down a side waterway and end up near St Armands circle were we see manatees!!
Next Chris brings us to the mangrove tunnels and shares many facts that I never knew. I would highly recommend Paradise Adventures to anyone at any age! The best!! Thanks Chris!

Amazing!!

Absolutely would recommend Paradise and would use them again next time I visit Florida :). Chris was on time and despite of the wind and "cold" (low 60's), he still was willing to take us out to kayak. He had water for us and a waterproof bag for our phones. The most impressive thing for me was how nice and patient he was with 2 older ladies that did not have much experience kayaking, he made sure he waited for them, gave them tips on how to kayak faster and was very kind. We also got to see dolphins, it was amazing. Thank you Chris!!

Great kayaking

This is our family’s fourth time kayaking g in this area and even though it rained it was probably the best. The tides were right for the tunnels, the reservation was quick and smooth -they easily switched out two singles for a tandem and refunded the difference immediately. Chris and Sky were terrific- punctual, enthusiastic and fun.

Awesome experience.

Went with my wife, two 12 yr old daughters and 7 year old daughter. All 5 of us talked about how much we enjoyed the experience and plan on taking our out of state families when they visit later this month. One of my 12 yr olds had a single kayak and we had 2 tandems as well, it was easy to navigate for everyone and the perfect day. Strongly suggest doing this and do it with paradise.

Perfect day

My husband and I had the best time on the water! We rented 2 kayaks to take out on our own. Chris from Paradise went above and beyond to explain the map to us. We had been out there before so he told us about some less obvious tunnels where we could get lost on purpose in the mangroves. We loved exploring and barely ran into any other people. It felt like our own secret adventure. It was a windy day so he also told us about some areas to avoid if we didn't feel like paddling so hard(and we were grateful for that in the end). Chris provided dry bags for our keys and phones as well as maps in case we needed them. The service was beyond what we expected for rentals. We highly recommend Paradise Adventures!

An Awesome Introduction to Kayaking

For my birthday, my sister and I decided to go kayaking. I've been wanting to for some time now and definitive will be doing it more so in the future! My sister was terrified at first, but once we got in the kayak, she was so excited. Paradise Adventures were so amazing! Our guide, Sky, really loved what he was doing, which then made the adventure even better. I HIGHLY recommend Paradise Adventures. They know what they're doing and make the trip fun as hell.

Great Experience!

Phil was an amazing tour guide! He made it fun while being educational. My 11 year old was having a hard time in his kayak by himself and Phil was very patient with him and attached him to his kayak at one point lol. By the end my son had the hang of it. Worth the time and money 😁 Phil. You're awesome.

Amazing!

We just went to Florida the end of June and booked our 2nd guided kayak tour with them and it was perfect. The first time in February of this year we had Skye(can't remember how to spell it) and he was absolutely wonderful! This time around I had my 3 small children with me, which was their first time going kayaking. We had Orlando as our guide and he was amazing with my kids and very patient. He helped my son in teaching him how to paddle and help control the kayak and always answered all my kids questions. Both times I had such an amazing experience and can't wait to do it again. I would highly recommend them!

Experienced, informative and resourceful guide!

Wonderful experience through the mangroves with Chris. He had tons of knowledge of the area, bird species, history and more. With a minor equipment failure of my kayak seat, he was able to quickly repair it on the go with resources he had on board. Cannot say enough good things about this adventure.

We had a great time, our grown adult children loved it. We got through the mangroves even though the water was low.

We would strongly recommend this to everyone. If you are older than take a two person kayak and select a strong paddler. Your seat gets wet but the water isn’t too cold. Bring a camera, they provide water and a dry bag. We saw birds and fish....no dolphins.
