About Reel Aggressive Fishing Charters
Bradenton, Sarasota & Anna Maria Island fishing guide & family charter captain for Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and Spotted Sea Trout. Reel Aggressive Charters is owned and operated by Capt. Rob Gilbert, which is based and located out of Sarasota, Florida. Rob offers the best fishing Sarasota has to offer. Rob is a full time Sarasota fly fishing guide and also offers light tackle charters for those who have not learned how to throw a fly rod yet. Captain Rob lives for the hunt, so 90% of the fishing you will be doing is sight casting on the flats in skinny water. Rob runs a fully equipped Maverick 17 HPX-V Carbon Kevlar, and for group and family charters the Shearwater 25 LTZ has all of your needs covered.

Capt. Rob did a tremendous job getting me into some fish. He was patient with my lack of salt water fishing experience and went the extra mile to give me a good trip. I would highly recommend him.

Two of us went out with Capt. Rob today and had a great time. Rob knew where to place his boat so that we caught fish all morning long. His boat was on time, clean and stocked with fresh bait. He assisted us with everything from Baiting the hook to casting into the right spot. We would not hesitate to go with Capt. Rob again.

Last few trips with another guide were unsuccessful so we decided to switch to Captain Rob. It worked out great. He knew where the fish were. He was easy going and enjoyed working with young children no matter how many crossed lines he had to untangle. I can recommend him without reservation.

Went out with Capt Rob for half day trip. He conveniently picked us up on northern end of Longboat Key where we were staying, and we fished both inshore and offshore. Great boat (25' Seacraft) and very knowledgeable guide. He was patient with my aging parents, and we all caught fish on live bait. I'm an avid fly fisherman and will be back to fish for tarpon on the fly. I've fished with many guides over the years and Rob was very very good among the guides I've fished with.
