I live in Sarasota and my college-aged son and his girlfriend came down during the holidays for winter break. I had a very old Groupon I had purchased long ago yet Liquid Blue still honored it. I was impressed. The managers of the kayaks were very friendly and helpful. Their equipment seemed in good shape and the waters in Sarasota bay were a lot of fun with lots to see. I strongly recommend if you come to Sarasota for vacation this is a reasonably priced activity that is not to be missed.

My boyfriend and I spontaneously booked this tour, ( individual kayaks ) and it was the best experience we've had. The tour guide, Cowboy Kelly and Russ were awesome ! He was so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, we ended up getting a private tour because we were the only ones to book the afternoon tour. It was well worth the money. Being native of Florida we knew what to expect with the heat, but he was still awesome about checking up on us with the heat and making sure that we were comfortable the whole time. He gave us lots of fun facts, got to see many manatees and wildlife on the tour. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get out and explore all that Florida has to offer.

Our group of 4 had a great time on Sarasota Bay & in the mangroves this week. Kelly was a terrific guide—safety conscious, funny, good at putting inexperienced kayakers (like me) at ease. We lucked into seeing manatees and the cormorants fishing under our kayaks were delightful!

We had a great experience on our Sarasota kayak trip through the mangroves with Liquid Blue Outfitters. Our tour guide Kelly was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly, funny and full of great information about the history and facts concerning Sarasota Bay area. At $50 per person it was a great value.

We took a guided nature kayak tour with tour guide Kelly. Kelly did an excellent job explaining and demonstrating the skills necessary to handle a kayak and maintain our safety. Kelly shared a wealth of information about the animals and plant life in the bay. Kayaking through the Mangrove trails was an experience I’ll never forget, and we were very fortunate to observe a mother dolphin swimming with her 2-4 week old baby. I can not describe how thrilling it was to see. Overall, the area was beautiful and our trip with Liquid Blue Outfitters was fantastic.

We loved the kayak experience and the various mangrove water trails we were able to explore, but what made it so meaningful was our guide Kelly’s commitment to conserving the natural environment and care for all living things. He showed deep respect for the trees, the water, and creatures around us. He even rescued a pelican who had gotten flipped upside down under water and was drowning, Kelly was able to get him right side up and called a bird sanctuary to come rescue the poor thing because it had a broken wing and couldn’t swim or fly. Kelly is a kind and caring guide and I know any guests will enjoy his humor and learn from his environmentally conscious ways. Thank you Kelly.

Went today, liked the tour so much, going again on Saturday.
Kelly was our guide and he made the trip for our 10 year old son a great first experience kayaking by himself. Recommend to anyone, experienced or brand new!

We booked a tour last minute Thursday morning and our 1:45afternoon tour was fantastic.
Kelly got it all. He is a great educator, from how to secure the dry bag, to really clear instructions on how to kayak your way out when stickers, to all the biological knowledges.
He has been here for 14 years and it so happens that he is real good friend with a few swimmable black birds that followed our kayak all along to catch fish.
Sometimes the guide is worth half the tour, and Kelly is the tour guide that you’d can not go wrong with. He is funny, cares deeply about his family, a great responsible guy that you can trust and talk to.
We are both very lucky and happy to have chatted with him, and it is a great great pleasure.

Had an amazing time on our kayak trip. The mangroves are so stunning. We saw all types of wildlife including a family of manatees. Our guide had a cool bird friend named Schizo that was chasing fish beneath our kayaks the entire tour, popping up and darting off chasing its lunch. Such a blast. Definitely recommend!

There were 7 of us that toured with Liquid Blue, ranging in age from 10 to 72. The tour guide was very knowledgable, professional, and caring. Dealing with the company was a snap. Very nice people that are focused on the customer's experience. I highly recommend this team.

I'll be heading on the tour with two tandem kayaks, two adults and two children. Is there room on the kayaks for a small cooler or any cup holders for a water bottle or anything?

I am a disabled Sarasota resident and have been wanting to take your guided tour of the mangroves. I walk with a cane and may need assistance getting in and out if the kyack. Is it possible for a guide to paddle the kyack and is assistance available? I am 62 years old and other than arthritis, I am in good health and am a good swimmer. Thank you. Mary Ann G.

Hello Mary, we do not have the ability to paddle a boat for you, but we can help and assist with getting into and out of the kayak. You can select a tandem kayak and come with a friend that could assist with paddling.

I'd call and check, but in my experience, go in the afternoon. This way morning low tide won't affect your trip or potentially lead to cancellation. We were just there three weeks ago and heard morning tours couldn't go into certain areas due to low tide.

Hi there! The water in the mangroves was very calm and very shallow. Keep in mind that Liquid blue outfitters does supply life vests.

Hi, we're going down to Sarasota during Easter week (April 5-10). I'm assuming it may be very busy then. Do you recommend booking our tour now or can it wait till we arrive? Also, is there a better time to spot dolphins and Manatees as far as the morning or afternoon tour goes? Thanks and looking forward to giving this a go! Marc
