Beautiful, peaceful environment and well done ceremony for vet who died at 100. Family not interested in religious ceremony.

I have been to the Cemetery for a memorial service as well as just to visit! Definitely a place to visit in Sarasota.....the visitors areas very comfortable and worth the trip!

Just go.. thank me later. Be humbled at the sacrifices of our brave men and women. One of the cleanest, well preserved cemeteries in the USA. AN honor to go there.

Whether you served in the Military or not, the Sarasota National Cemetery on Clark Rd is a tribute to Federal monies well spent for our Veterans. Very friendly staff, beautifully maintained grounds and facility. WT Cote.....Proud Veteran

This is a very peaceful and serene Cemetery, it has pictures and stories displayed about the many wars of the past that are very interesting and informative! Also the breeze at this country location are a welcome when the temperature is high!

They are having a ceremony on Saturday at 11 am - Brigadier General Gerald McIlmoyle (US Airforce, retired) will be speaking. There will be a band as well.

Thank you for stating what this cemetery is for. Attraction is not one of the words that I would subscribe to this hallowed ground.
