After just moving permanently to Sarasota, we are eagerly exploring its cultural offerings. Florida Studio in general and its production of both "Fly" and "...Cold Feet" did not disappoint! In fact, our experience was so enjoyable, we just joined for the season. Well done!

We were pleasantly surprised what great venues the two smaller theaters are. Very stylish, intimate setting. Main floor cabaret seating is close to the stage. Balcony table seating along the rail is good. Some high tops behind that with limited visibility, but people move their chairs up to see better. Our first show, American Pie, was fantastic. Performers were terrific... More

At one of several stages at FST, we enjoyed American Pie very much. The singers were terrific and the music brought back college day memories. We liked being able to go an hour early and have dinner and drinks right in the theater. Menu was small but good.

Fly was an outstanding production. We usually see at least two or three productions at FST while in Sarasota and we have never been disappointed.

Our first time attending a performance at FST so we didn't know what to expect. There is more than one theatre within this theatre. Not sure how the others are yet… but the venue where we saw American Pie is quaint & up close. It's cabaret style with tables & chairs where you can order drinks & nibbles. Very cozy,... More

This was my second show here and I was impressed by the high quality of the productions. The seating is roomy and comfortable, and sight lines are exceptional throughout the theatre. It would have received an excellent review save for the fact that one of the actors in the production had not memorized his lines and was being fed dialogue... More

The shows at FST are always entertaining and so much fun, and "American Pie" was no exception! The music from the 60s and 70s was presented with humor and awesome vocals from this group of vocalists and actors, and was extremely enjoyable to myself and everyone who attended! I can see why this show has been extended, as it was... More

I have seen several plays at Florida Studio Theatre (FST) over the last 18 months and believe it to be the best regional theater in Florida. I have attended theater around the state, alone or with friends, and the productions are consistently of the highest quality. Whether they are doing classics, musicals, or introducing new plays, the variety is excellent... More

My husband and I have had the opportunity to see a number of plays and musical performances at FST and we've enjoyed all our visits. Whether it was a Broadway remake at the Mainstage or a lively musical review at the Cabaret, you won't be disappointed. Keep in mind that this is not Broadway or even Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theater,... More

We went there for the first time recently to see "Fly". The show was great! The acting and staging were impressive and beyond what I expected. Although done on a small stage in a small theatre, I think the production ranked right up there with a broadway show. We loved the venue too. Just charming. Great value, great entertainment and...
