I took my 85 year old father here, as he loves old cars. It was a great place to leisurely walk through the history of motoring. Though we visited during the snowbird season, it wasn't crowded and we could mosey along at our own pace. The collection is quite random and somewhat inconsistent, but there are some unusual cars, some... More

If you are interested in classic vehicles, come see this fantastic little find of well cared for vehicles. Walk the aisles and peek into the back workshop. It's a great way to spend a few hours.

We went to this museum while on vacation because my husband and I are car lovers and had found the museum on tripadvisor. The reviews were okay so we weren't expecting too much; and were pleasantly surprised by how off some of the reviews were. We were asked if we wanted a guided tour, which we took. Dave, our guide,... If you are an old car aficionado you just have to come to Sarasota Classic Car Museum. $12 per person entry (with a coupon from their website) is what you will pay for this amazing day at the museum. It is really exciting to see all those cars in perfect condition and they will most certainly take you down the... More

I guess we had been spoiled by a visit to The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu in the heart of the New Forest, Hampshire, England. For £19 one can see over 250 vehicles and learn the history of motoring alongside special exhibits like the 'James Bond Collection' which was on display when we visited. Here in Sarasota is an interesting mixed... More

I love cars and there were some unique cars here. But, they were displayed with inadequate signage and the fee to get in was much larger than I anticipated. I was on my way to the Ringling Museum and thought I would drop in. I walked put thinking that I had just wasted my money.

Any "gearhead" is going to enjoy the display of American classics and displays such as cars owned by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The experience could be improved by improving the lighting to make it easier to make better photographs.

Enjoyed, but this certainly has the feel of an older and somewhat underfunded museum. There are some things in here you never knew existed (back garage), but they are mainly of interest to the true automotive history buff (fortunately I am one). No real heavy classics (30's), but some from 20's. A few vehicles that don't belong in any museum... More

Great time walking through the museum and seeing the many cars that they have collected. Some known and some not known vehicles like a couple of concept vehicles. Whether a car enthusiast or not, this is a great couple of hours to see some history, even John Ringling's Rolls Royce.

The cars are pretty interesting but it would be even nicer to have more room to display them. There is a room in the back where there are more oldtimers are squashed together needing alot of work. We've been to alot of oldtimer museums so this is a small scale exhibition but stop in and see for yourself. It is... More
