The boat ride alone was worth the money - absolutely beautiful ride in Sarasota Bay and around the islands. Comfy seats, shaded boat, a great way to get out on the water. But very informative and entertaining, also. Very knowledgeable biologists and staff - a lot of detailed info on the flora and fauna of the ecosystem. Saw dolphins right out of the dock, several birds in the rookery, sea urchin and local fish out of the trawling net. Nice stop on an intracoastal island for a short guided nature walk. Good for children, and more than enough to interest adults, too.

The crew was great and very informative. Saw Dolphins but no Manatees this time out. Most interesting was the dredging of living animals to see them up close. We also visited the Mote Aquarium and it was also very educational.

We visited the MOTE (awesome in itself) and then took the 4pm tour with Jill as the biologist guide. How wonderful to have such a knowledgeable guide! We discussed the wildlife of the bay in depth. We stopped at an island with only boat access. Jill put out a net to capture life in the bay and told us about each critter she had caught! If you love nature, this tour is for you. It was also a great ride to see the homes around the bay. Snacks and bathroom available too. Great price, great tour! And with professional staff- it was perfect!!

Loves this low key but very informative bay tour. Our guide Lev was excited and that was contagious. You can see dolphins and other sea life as well as learn about the vegetation. They also talk about the forming of the area along with some history. Highly recommend

The pontoon boat was spacious. Snacks and drinks can be bought. There is a bathroom on board. We saw manatees and dolphins. The biologist on board was knowledgeable and fun. I would definitely recommend this!
