Miles long paved trail for biking and walking. No cars to bother with and just a few street crossings allow for uninterrupted cycling surrounded by green and fields.

It was good idea setup this trail. We use weekly for our bike trip to Nokomis and Venice from Sarasota. Safe place and you see turtles, snakes and lot of nice birds.

A very nice bike path. Used 2 B a railroad. It can also B used as a walk path about 15 miles from start 2 finish. Benches and covered seating is also available.

Wonderful place to ride your bike. Very well maintained trail and only a few intersections to cross. Plenty of stops along the way to rest. Scenic trail. My favorite portion is from Nokomis to Venice as you see the water.

Hi,The Friends of The Legacy Trail has a link to several bike shops that rent bikes on our webpage. The menu on the left has a tab for trail info, and then bicycle rentals. Have fun!!
