I thoroughly enjoyed my day trip to Sarasota jungle gardens . There are a lot of exotic birds 🐦 and reptiles 🦎 to see as well as shows on these creatures . I highly recommend going to the Sarasota jungle gardens .

Tourist rip off that appeals to kids. My seven year old granddaughter was somewhat impressed but seven year olds don't have a sense off "Bang for the Buck". WAY over priced AND be sure to check your receipt, We were 2 adults, 1 senior (65+), one child our was came to $83.41 including tax. I didn't notice until I was... More

My Mom & I decided finally to visit the gardens for the day. I have lived here for several years & heard that it was fun . It turned out to be a very short trip since it is a very small exhibit. A lot of the habitats was empty. Probably took an hour + to see everything....birds & reptiles.... More

4 grandchildren, aged 5-12, our third visit in 5 years along with parents and grandparents. We can see improvements happening each time. This year we were too late for the bird show (noon only) which was too bad but we did take in the wildlife and reptile shows and enjoyed them. The gal who did the shows was informative, amiable... This place is wonderful! A quaint little "zoo" of sorts. There is a great, little alligator pool filled with babies to feed as soon as you walk in. All the enclosures provide an awesome opportunity to view the animals, most are rescued, and have great little bios to read at each stop. Nice, little playground for the kids and plenty... More

Grandkids really liked the animals and the playground in the gardens. Easy to find. Get a flyer from a chamber of commerce and save a few dollars.

The jungle gardens showcase native trees and plants. It is easy to see all, including scheduled educational shows on some of Florida's wildlife, in about 4 hours. Nice way to spend an afternoon and should appeal to all ages. Reasonable entry fees a family trip. There is a place to buy light lunches and snacks on premises.

Saw a couple of "poor" reviews for this place. No way! Price is right, under $20 for adults. Setting is a gem away from the bustle of Sarasota. It is ideal for families with young children but it was enjoyable as well for my wife and me - a couple of seniors. The shows are structured to teach the youngsters... More
