A great reasonable place to take your kids. They will love it. (use your AAA membership) The kids will interact with the wildlife.

They have a holiday lights event every year and thats the one we go to. Any other time if thenyear and we arent impressed. But, we dont have kids. If we had little ones, we would go. There is a playground for them and you can get pretty up close to some unique florida wildlife.

Lisa, Thanks for the 4 star review. We appreciate you taking the time to rate Sarasota Jungle Gardens. Your idea of splash pool or misters is a good one. There actually has been discussions about implementing an attraction like this for the reasons you have mentioned. It’s still in the “consideration” phase, but we are looking into it. We apologize... Located at 3701 Bay Shore Road, only two miles south of the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport off U.S. Route 41 at Myrtle Avenue West, it features beautiful tropical gardens, more than 200 animals, daily bird... Interesting place where you can feed the flamingos and enjoy up-close bird watching--gorgeous tropical birds. I steered away from the reptile house but the braver in the group enjoyed the variety of reptiles they saw. Took a wonderful photo of two beautiful swans with our twin granddaughters. A special moment to remember. We especially appreciated the garden area that focused... More
