Evening music performance was beautiful, wonderful acoustics, no bad seats. However, the weak A/C made the event uncomfortable when patrons filed the house. Water not allowed inside, so we had to suffer through what would have been a splendid concert.

Customer service is horrendous, took wife and daughter there for Bugaku ballet and had to leave after 2nd intermission... temp in theater had to have reached 90 degrees. Walk in and ask usher for napkins that she had and she sent us to another location....More

What a fabulous season at Sarasota opera. Just saw opening night of Tiefland, only performed for the 3rd time in US and it was fabulous- orchestra, leading performers, the sets! It moved quickly and was most excellent. We are going back to see it again....More

The opera house is beautiful. We saw Carmen. The seats are comfortable with excellent banking. The performance was wonderful.
