Four of us had the great luck to choose Siesta Key Sports Fishing Charter out of the numerous available charters in Sarasota for our trip.
Capt Damian and 1st Mate TJ were friendly and knowledgeable and offered one of the best prices available for a 4 hour offshore trip.
The boat was clean, and excellently maintained.
The years of experience Capt Damian had was evident when within a minute of dropping our fishing lines we were reeling fish in.
When we first anchored TJ gave some quick fishing tips to make our experience enjoyable.
The time flew by quickly as we caught a variety of different species, red and grey snapper, grouper and a sheepshead.
An overall great day and will definitely use again and recommend Siesta Key Sport Fishing.

We booked the 4hr morning trip. Captain Damian and his first mate TJ were awesome. They worked very well together. They found and kept us on the fish the whole trip. We had three young boys on board and TJ worked hard to make sure all their lines stayed baited and explained what type of fish they were catching. We filled the box with snapper, Spanish mackerel, and tuna. The boat was in immaculate condition and was very spacious with enough room for everyone on board. Everyone on board, adults and kids had an absolute blast! Next time we book a charter in the Sarasota area it will definitely be with captain Damian on the Fear Knot!

Our trip with Damian & Siesta Key Sports Fishing Charters was EXCELLENT!!! We originally booked for a half day off-shore charter, but of course couldn't leave when it was time to leave so we paid for extra time.
It's safe to say that Damian is an expert at what he does, and his crew member was too. We were able to fish on the bottom for grouper and snappers as well as fish for the big fellas - Cobia, Barracuda, AmberJacks and more. He tailored our experience to fit exactly what our group wanted.
I'm huge into reviews and checking into what people have to say about their experiences and Damian was nothing short of excellent! If you are looking into a charter in Siesta Key, look no further!

What a great experience! Captain Damien and Mate Nick were great! Everything was well explained and set up. The boat was clean and a huge bonus was the bathroom on board. We brought some snacks and drinks and there was a nice big cooler on deck we were able to use. There were six of us total, ages 12-73, and we all had such a great time. We did off-shore fishing, so it took a little while to fish, but that was to be expected. It was a great boat ride and nice to enjoy being on the water. Nick did a great job setting up our poles and always making sure we had bait on our hooks. Captain Damien and Nick gave tons of good tips and tricks and helped us catch a huge grouper! I would definitely recommend Captain Damien and would use him again for sure.

The previous day's wind was out of the west, then fishing day it was from the NE so the seas were choppy with a 2-4 foot swell. Made for a fun ride! Mate T.J. had barely put the lines out and we had FISH ON! Captain Damian did a fantastic job getting us out to a very fertile location! While we didn't catch many, the action was fast before dying out. We had heard nearby boats where having a tough time getting bites so that made us extra happy!
Captain and mate T.J. were very helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. We are planning on returning!

Siesta Key Sports Fishing is the Best on the Key. Captain Damian is so awesome! He is so knowledgeable, fun, and makes sure you have a great time on his immaculate boat, the Fear Knot! Can't say enough about how great it was to be fishing with him and Mate Steve. We have been fishing with Damian many years and he's truly the best. Book Siesta Key Sports Fishing, it will make your Siesta Key vacation memorable.

We have been on several fishing charters in different countries and Florida cities. Captain Damian is really one of the Best . Over the 5 hours we did some trolling and then some bait fishing. We caught very many fish. Although the grouper were too small and had to be released we went home with two bags of fish fillets. The captain moved the boat several times to insure we continued to enjoy catching fish. I very highly recommend this charter. The captain and the deck hand Mat were friendly and very attentive. It was a great trip and a very enjoyable experience.

We knew it would be a good day when we were escorted out of the intercoastal by a pod of dolphins who rode our wake for over ten minutes. We started the day bottom fishing and caught a variety of fish including 15+ snapper that we brought home. Although it was still murky from the last week of storms, we tried trolling and immediately had two fish on! We caught two large tuna and two large king macs. We also saw a loggerhead turtle during a break in the action. This is our fourth trip with Captain Damian and our best day of fishing ever. First mate Morgan took great care of us. I highly recommend them.

We celebrated my son’s 11th birthday with a half-day off-shore fishing charter. The kids and I had a great day with Mark - from riding the boat on the waves out to our spot - to reeling in kingfish, Spanish Mackeral and tons of snapper. Even got some grouper that will be ready to keep in a few more weeks! Little brother (who’s not so excited about fishing) really enjoyed reeling in his fish, too!! Mark was professional, considerate, prompt and communicated with us throughout the whole process. Thanks for a great experience!!

This is absolutely the Best fishing charter on SK! Damian is such an awesome captain. His amazing boat, Fear Knot, is immaculate, powerful, and so accommodating for great fishing. He communicates great, books efficiently, and is one super friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing Captain that puts you on fish. We have fished with him 5 years in a row and love it. Morgyn is super awesome as a First Mate, love her and how helpful, professional, and sweet she is. Do not look anywhere else, book with Damian at SK Sports Fishing! You will have an awesome experience on shore or off.
