Traveling to Destin and 30A for decades now I still feel Red Bar is a must. There is no other place to eat that comes close to the VALUE for the food the Red Bar provides. Some entrees are as low as $14 which can't get you a snow cone in Destin. The menu is always on a chalk board... More

This is a very popular place with a limited menu but the food is exceptional. Our table had the grouper over a grit cake, shrimp and crawfish pasta and stuffed eggplant and every dish was spectacular and delicious. The music got a little loud later and conversation was stifled. Still an enjoyable experience.

We sat on the patio, inside was too loud. Our waiter was Ivon, an eastern European, probably a student; and he made the visit. The food was very good, large portions and on the pricey side. We had gone for the crab cakes, but they are only served Friday and Saturday. There is little variety, only about 6-8 items, which... More

I don't know the history of this bar, but it looks like it has been here since as long as we have had dirt. And I mean this in a good way. This is a bar bar beach bar. It's located in Grayton Beach sort of off the beaten track from all the glitz and glammer you now find around... More

Love coming here and sitting on the back patio for cocktails and appetizers! The drinks are strong and the food is good! The bartenders and server staff are friendly. I love that you can walk in after the beach and don't have to worry about feeling underdressed in your t-shirt, shorts and flip flops. They have a lot of live... More

I have been here twice. The atmosphere is good unless you eat outside by someone who has their two big dogs. I think the escort personnel should inform you before you take an outside seat. The dogs were well behaved but what if you are allergic. most outside places I have eaten out did not have dogs. I would understand... More

Menu changes regularly, food is always tasty! .. nice spot to grab a drink and listen to some music. ..check out Facebook to see what's on the entertainment menu. .. It's not fancy. ...but it's quality.

We walked from the Watercolor Inn down the beach through Grayton Beach State Park to the town of Grayton, where The Red Bar is an institution. You can bike and drive here also. Parking is on street outside and on streets nearby where spaces are not private. Walking anywhere in Grayton Beach is an entertaining walk in itself. The Red... More

I love the atmosphere, live music and amazing food. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. This is a good local spot. It was packed but service was fast.
