We have used Goatfeathers Seafood Market for several years and have always had good service and the items have always been in stock. My last visit was July 3rd and I am oh so glad that I didn't wait until the 4th to get our steamed shrimp. We were invited to friends in Panama City for lunch and we thought... More

great fresh fish and a manageable price... good people to work with. I have been in the area about 6 times and have tried all the local seafood shops and Goatfeathers seems to always have what I am looking for except Pompano (which I have yet to find). Prices are average to slightly above average for location but quality is... More

This place has some of the most indifferent servers I have ever seen. Food did not seem real fresh either. Will not go back!

Bought some shrimp today, am a returning customer. As I walked out I realized I paid more than I expected. When I checked my receipt, I noticed they charged me for a different kind of shrimp - more expensive. Made close to $10 difference on a $19 order. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt if this were not... More

I am a local here in the area. I see what this company charges in the winter and then they jack up their rates in the summer. They have an attitude as being "superior locals" to the "obnoxious vacationers" they serve. I got news for you, if it weren't for the "obnoxious vacationers" there would be no Goatfeathers and no... Most delicious seafood I have tastes. We had soup and lobsters for dinner and it was very tasty. Maybe a bit too much oil og butter on the food, but other than that it was great.

Every beach vacation no matter what beach, we always get shrimp to steam for dinner one night. Goatfeathers is the best on 30A! We are shrimp snobs as we lived in Baltimore for 10 years, and were over-confident in our steaming capabilities... Water, beer and Old Bay. The fishmonger at Goatfeathers convinced us to let him steam half of our... More

It has become a tradition for our family to get steamed shrimp at Goatfeatgers during our annual trip to the Gulf. We get the shrimp on the evening when we grill out at our cottage and have it with steak and corn on the cobb and new potatoes. It is usually our favorite meal of the week.

If you are renting while in seaside, sea grove, watercolor etc - you need to stop by here and have them steam some fresh shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning. It is ready in 5 minutes and you can eat it back at your place right away or chill for later. It will be your best shrimp on the whole trip.... More

If you are staying in the area and have access to an outdoor grill, then your vacation would not be complete without stopping at Goatfeathers for some fresh seafood to put on the grill. The shrimp are fresh from the Gulf and will spoil you for life. However, don't expect cheap prices because you are near the ocean. They have... More
