We had an excellent morning on the water with Captain Peter. He picked us up at the causeway park and we tried fishing at many spots, with quite a bit of luck. He has a vast knowledge about the area and fishing in general, which was nice. We appreciated that our trip with him was not break-the-bank expensive, he tried hard to get us onto the fish that we wanted to catch, and he cleaned what we wanted to keep to eat. It was also nice to be able to get on the boat without a worry. He had everything provided that we needed and great gear to use. It was a highlight of our trip, for sure!…

We got on the boat and Captain Peter quickly sat us down with our group and gauged how how experienced each of the people in our party were with fishing this area. He spent time giving pointers and suggestions on how best to fish each area that we went to. Not only is he personable - but also very knowledgeable of the area as well. Everyone in our party - ages 15 - 74 had a wonderful time. When we are back in the area - there is no doubt we will be booking him again. As of this writing - he doesnt have feedback below "excellent" - I would rate him even higher if I could.…

After a cruise to Nassau and Bimini, then renting a car to spend a couple of days in Key West, then driving to Sanibel, a fishing trip sounded exhausting. But I’m sooo glad we went! It was the best day of our trip so far! Captain Peter was an excellent guide. He picked us up at the Causeway Park and zipped us around to different spots to fish. It was pretty windy, so the fish weren’t biting much, but we did catch some. I even caught a puffer fish that Peter gave to me to hold while my husband took pictures. The fish was then released unharmed. Most of my catches were too small, but this was my first-ever fishing trip, and now I kinda get the appeal. It is a thrill to feel that tug on the line. An extra special treat was seeing a school of dolphins. Peter started up the boat and the dolphins played in the wake, jumping around. Even if I hadn’t caught a single fish, playing with the dolphins was worth the whole trip. We also saw three manatees! Peter also explained about the different islands we were seeing, pointed out places of interest and made restaurant recommendations. The following day, we met up with Peter to get our cleaned catch. We started our trip at 8:30 and Peter dropped us off at about 1:00. I thought that the cost was more than reasonable, and I hope we gave him a sufficient gratuity…he was worth every penny, plus. If we ever come back to Sanibel (I sure hope so!), I’d book Captain Peter again in a heartbeat.…

We had a wonderful time with Captain Peter. Saw plenty of dolphins and caught a delicious dinner. Our friend even caught a shark! Great guy who knows where the fish are. Thanks again, Peter, for a fun memory.

We booked Captain Peter for a half day fishing trip and we are so glad we did! This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Sanibel. Captain Peter had everything ready to go; all we had to do was show up and fish! We explored several areas and caught a good amount including trout, sheepshead, snapper and even a puffer fish! We asked to keep our catch and he even fileted and bagged them for us. He gave us island history, restaurant recommendations and great fishing tips we will also be taking home. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we will be repeat customers!…
