This park is a great place to bring young children. The playground equipment is first rate. There are plenty of things for them to do. There are swings, slides, and many things for the children to climb on. All of the equipment is covered, to provide a shaded area for the children. It is also a nice place to take... More

The playground is well-maintained and clean, bathrooms are nearby in the parking lot. The playground is along the bike-path @ Periwinkly Way, so a very easy stop when riding with the kids. The playground is mostly shaded, but equipment will still be pretty hot depending on the time of day... the cover does not shield rain so thing will be... More

Have stopped for a second day after the beach and let the kids play for a few hours. Well maintained playground. Very clean. Great equipment. Shaded. Bathrooms are nice. Picnic tables.

What a nice playground! It is right on the main road of Periwinkle, directly along one of the many bike trails in the area. In fact, we made an impromptu stop here on our family surrey ride. There are varied levels of structures for a wide age range, many of which are covered with sun shades which was key for... More

Just off the Periwinkle bike path. A great stop with shady play area, a variety of equipment for preschoolers through grade school, benches for adults, a restroom and water fountain. There is a coffee place across the street...so grab a cup before heading over! My kids always enjoy it.

My kids had a lot of fun at this park. They have great shade coverings, which was needed in the 99 degree heat! We stayed for 45 minutes and had to drag the kids away. Be sure and bring water!

My 5 and 2 year old loved this! Very nice park with restrooms! Mostly in the shade. Nice size field and volleyball court there too. Perfect stop on our last day before the airport when we were trying to stay out of the water.

My children ages 7,5,3 and 1 all enjoy this park. I like that it's fenced in and mostly covered from the sun. We can spend a couple of hours here if we pack a lunch. There is a little scavenger hunt built in to the playground that my kids got a kick out if the first time we visited. The... More

This place was absolutely perfect! It has things to do for younger and older kids. The best part is that it is covered from the hot Florida sun.

The playground near The Island Cow is a great place to kids to play, while families wait for an open table. The playground is sheltered from the rays of the sun by a permanent canopy.
