Cute stores, locally owned, great selection of merchandise. Very easy to get around. We liked the variety of merchandise available from selection to price.

This main thoroughfare extends across the main island. Plenty of restaurants and stores to checkout. I suggest a bike rental to enjoy the scenery up and down the road. Bring your camera, comfortable shoes and enjoy the up close nature that you will see.

Very clean and upscale. A bit pricey but I highly recommend going to the soap shop and the sunglasses store! We hit up some great sales while we were there!

I love that all the roads on the island are just two lane. I'm sure it is crazy during high season but has such a wonderful small town feel. It is the center of everything.

The distance is about a mile, meaning a 20 minute walk depending on pace. There are a lot of paved walkways on Sanibel for biking and walking. Some resorts have on-site bike rentals, and other bike rental shops are... More
