We attended a Christmas Eve service on the beach at the lighthouse. We sang carols and lighted candles as the sun set.

Nice spot for a short visit (or longer if you take in the beach). Lighthouse is small compared to some but is well-appointed and in a nice secluded park on Sanibel island. We caught a nice sunset while on location. Recommend at least one visit...More

We stopped here for just over an hour, but could have spent 3 hours here if we did not need to be elsewhere. Parking here is a little steep at $5 per hour, but it is a wonderful place to just walk along the beach....More

We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful landmark. It was Sunday, so the outbuildings were closed. We still got to walk around and see the lighthouse. The beach here was gorgeous and we saw many dolphins.

what a beautiful piece of history, you can imagine how it looked when it was in operation. Tastefully decorated for Christmas and a beautiful beach to view it from as well. It's beautifully photographed from many angles.

We visited the Lighthouse/Park/Beach area. Lots of shells. Well maintained. Parking was $5 an hour. There are restrooms and showers...and they were clean!

Convenient public parking available. Permit time to walk around the beach and lighthouse area. You will enjoy either on the way into the island, or on the way out.

Have had great fun collecting shells at the top of island. Great bird photography spot early morning. Fun watching fisherman in winter great to see all the fisherman catching sheepshead. Unique striped fish with teeth that look human.

If you follow Periwinkle Parkway to the end, there is a large public lot right adjacent to the beach. Walk the beach to the left to the lighthouse and pier.
