WHIMS is a new boutique opened by two local artists, Susan Sadler and Beth Redpath, in the Bailey's Shopping Center on Sanibel Island. The shop has a great eclectic mix of clothing from cashmere to tunics, unusual jewelry, and colorful accessories. There are also gifts for you and your home, as well as a fun mix of local art. Stop by and indulge in some whims!

Beth has an eye for all things beautiful and interesting. The store has a great mix of items- wearables, housewares, gifts, etc. There are a range of prices, from cashmere to tee's . It's a rewarding adventure to shop at Whims.

Wonderful shopping experience. I got the coziest and most flattering pair of black pants. Great items for the home too. Friendly and accessible sales clerks.

Searching for a special gift, I discovered this place. Great selection of unique gifts. I also ended up buying for myself. High quality, non-touristy items. I highly recommend.

I bought a $350 blouse (a huge splurge for me) and when I got it home, it just didn't fit right. Imagine my surprise to find out that it wasn't returnable! Store credit only!
Plus, the sales woman wasn't very nice about it.
I try to shop local but this experience made me wonder how any small businesss can survive with poor customer service.

Small boutique. High prices and had a funky smell. The staff on the other hand was super friendly. Not much variety and the items seemed outdated in style.

They have everything from earrings, clothing, and purses to lots of unique Sanibel keepsakes. All the sales ladies I’ve been helped by have been super sweet too!

Hidden in the corner of the Bailey's Shopping Center is a gem with an artistic flair. This little, locally-owned store is such a wonderful addition to your shopping experience on Sanibel. Not only can you find unique clothing, jewelry, and handbags at varying prices, there are also tons of gifts, children's toys and clothing and pillows, clocks ..... you name it ..... it's in this wonderful shop. Also, ask the owner about her amazing handmade jewelry or her handcrafted, fantastic, colorful pottery. Only one problem: don't expect to breeze in and out. This store is a destination for some serious shopping and lots of laughs, enthusiasm and caring from the "gals." Only attitude here is to give you the best possible shopping experience on the island.

Nice clothing and gifts that can be found elswhere where the owner does not have an attitude. Service was good if they know you and their return policy is not visitor friendly.

We are sorry you were disappointed in a perceived attitude and stuff you can find elsewhere. Most people feel we have a very unique selection of gifts and clothes. We value our regular customers/friends as well as everyone else who shops with us. Please come again and we will try harder!

My mom, aunt and I found some awesome, unique clothing and accessories here in early May. We stopped in twice and were amazed at how much we found in such a small shop. Can't wait to go back next year!!!

My sister-in-law and I stopped here and we were to happy we did! We both had great success in finding beautiful and unique clothing. THE highlight had to be the associate on duty - forgot her name... Chris? She was so helpful, knowledgeable and full of great suggestions for us. And funny too! She a true gem, a one of a kind! Their jewelry was so colorful and matched the store's vibe! Do stop by!
