Entrance into parking was nice. But once you arrive into the zoo I noticed some things were not open. Also this zoo is on the small size...by size and by the amount of animals they have. My kids were bored and we were in the...More
We took our three children to the zoo today ages 10,4, and 3. This is a small zoo. The fencing had me a little anxious around some of the exhibits. We were by the otters right after the Rhinos and our 3 year old took...More
If you are looking for something a little calmer than the theme parks, this is a good option, especially with a young family. The youngest in our family was 18 and we still had a really nice visit. The botanical gardens really wasn't much but...More

This small zoo is truly a delight.
They have a boardwalk that runs throughout the zoo in case it rains or floods. Much more comfortable to walk on than hard concrete.
The animals are closeup with good descriptions and easy to view.

A children friendly zoo with a beautiful boardwalk and lots of interesting animal exhibits. Also has a splash area for the children to play. It's a great way for adults and children to spend a morning or an afternoon.
