Great for young and old. Go early in the summer to avoid the heat and see the animals. Better time would be late September or October

Nothing special but fun to walk through. They have a small park are for little kids to play in water, sprinklers. They have a things to do outside the park, cost more though. The walk through and zoo is nice. Alittle outdated but cool movie props throughout. Relaxing walk. The zoo is cute, but needs updated. The cost is low,... More

I have been to this zoo a few times, about once per year for the past few years. It is small and "old school." Most animals are in small caged exhibits. There is no theming and no careful thought or master plan as to the placement of the exhibits. They have a giraffe habitat with three giraffes, however there is... More

Thank you very much for the review, we value all feedback. We are in the construction process of a new black bear habitat that will be very educational. We are a small non-profit, so your admission is what helps us to operate our Zoo and grow. So thank you for your support! More

WOW - this place is just bad. There are some areas, like the splash pad, that appeal to guests, but as far as the animal areas go, it is just the pits. A visit here will allow you to see what zoos looked like back in the 1960s with cramped cages and a mish-mash/random collection (with no real "theming" of... More

We're sorry you did not enjoy our Zoo. We are a small non-profit zoo, so your patronage is what helps us grow and improve. We are an accredited member of AZA, which means we adhere to the highest standards of animal care, standards higher than the minimum required by the government. There are only 233 AZA accredited zoos and aquariums.... More

Wonderful family venue! Love the entire experience - animals, splash park and dining. Have had grandparent passes for nineteen years, sharing the experience with our six grandchildren as they have grown. The facility continues to expand with exhibits and education opportunities. Our family enjoys special events throughout the year.

My daughter and I visited this zoo while waiting on family to arrive at the airport. The Sanford airport is about 15mins away. The zoo has many animals, great reptile exhibit that is indoors. The place is well kept with beautiful plants. The animals are close to viewing areas and some viewing areas are shaded. There's plenty of shaded benches... More

I first found out about the Central Florida Zoo through an outreach of theirs at my local library. Now, we have family passes! The zoom air.is grea for tweens, teens and the adventurous. The train is a beauty and our baby loves it almost as much as she loves the merry go round. The zoo gets better every year. There... More

Went yesterday 6/23 with the family, it's an OK zoo most of the animals were sleeping and hiding from the sun , can't say I blame them! Paid $5 to feed the giraffe 3 pieces of lettuce kids were happy and that's the important thing.

I had no idea that this zoo's scenery was so beautiful! It is a smaller zoo but there was plenty to see, the kids weren't overwhelmed and there was plenty of shade. We were visiting from out-of-state so the kids were just as enthralled with the little lizards and squirrels that ran all over the walkways. It was a different... More
