We booked a tour for 6 family members back in 2019 and payed the entire amount, but the pandemic crashed our plans and we figured we lost out since so any businesses went under but were surprised to hear from Rob that they started back up in July 2021 and were were still booked. So we asked to o on the first tour on July 10 and Rob was happy to accommodate out group, but since there was so much pent up demand, a group of 10 others were also coming. One of the places Rob arranged for this LARGE group to go to was to Hollerbach's Willow Tree Caffe which is a world renown German style restaurant complete with a German band. We have been there before and just getting in is a real hassle without reservations, so we were amazed that Rib was able to squeeze us in which really was not something the crown waiting in line was happy to see, What a fantastic experience that was with the authentic German fare and delicious beer. That was just one of the many great place we toured that night and we were so grateful that after over a year he still allowed us to take the tour!

We just did the tour today. We had 8 people. Rob did an outstanding job on the tour and insight into Sanford. We learned a lot about the town which we did not know before. The restaurants he took us to were excellent and the food was amazing. A really nice day to spend 3+ hours. The weather was beautiful for mid December. Would recommend this tour to anyone, except kids.

I have never been on a food tour before, so I really didn't know what to expect. From the moment it started until the end, I was having a ball. The food was beyond amazing. The restaurants all knew we would be there, and were expecting our arrival. The food was hot and ready when we arrived, and delicious. My favorite was the burnt ends at Fuel, the BBQ restaurant. I seriously crave those regularly now! I also really enjoyed the art gallery (Jeanine Taylor Folk Art.) I walk past it frequently and have never actually gone inside. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful each exhibit was. I highly recommend this tour if you're interested in history, food or even just socializing with other like-minded folks. I would definitely do it again! Definitely a 5 star! And kudos to our tour guide, Nathan, for being knowledgeable and funny!

This summer I was on a Nashville food tour, which took us through the Gulch district of this super foodie city. Guess what?? The Sanford Food Tour was just as good and can rival any foodie city with local-focused and creative culinary scenes. We were given so much food, one-on-one contact with owners and chefs and lots of hands-on experiences. The value was outstanding. I'm telling everyone about this!

We had a wonderful time! Excellent food and drink! Lots of fun history. We were a group of 12 and Rob did a great job. All the restaurants were wonderful.

My husband and I definitely enjoyed this activity! The food was great and the local history was very interesting. They definitely set the stage for a return trip! If you're looking for a group activity or something to do with your love, this is a great option!

Wow, what an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon! Nathan was an especially affable and knowledgeable host. We thoroughly enjoyed the perfect combination of Sanford history and the business backgrounds of the aMaZiNg restaurants we visited. The leisurely pace was much welcomed as we dined and sipped along the charming main street of the artsy and revived Sanford downtown. The food portions were very generous and served with well deserved pride and hospitality by the restauranteurs. We made 5 stops; 3 offering a small lunch course, and 2 offering a sweet treat. All were outstanding in their own way. We are local to the area, but have been on many food tours in various cities in the US. This one is in my top three picks for sure. I highly recommend this tour and will share my enthusiasm with all we know, and will look forward to returning again!

I have lived in Orlando for more than 10 years, but have never spent any time in Sanford. I was excited when a friend set up a tour for a day of fun. I was more than impressed with the whole thing! I had no idea Sanford has so much to offer and the history tidbits were very interesting. All of the food was delicious and hearty portions, did not leave hungry!! Our tour guide was very knowledgable and jumped right in with having fun with us. I will definitely do this again!! So much fun!!

I've been on a lot of food tours and this one is at the top. I left stuffed with great food, and an appreciation for Sanford. Our guide, Steve was very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend!

What are the options for food allergies? I have celiac so need a gluten-free menu.

The cost is $65.00 per person plus tax and a nominal booking fee. This cost includes all the food and drink at all our stops, but does not include gratuity for your guide. How fast a pace is the walking tour? We are both 72. Is it all walking except for when you eat?

The pace is slow and easy! And the owners and chef speak to you at many of the restaurants while you sit and enjoy
