I live just outside of downtown and we take my dog to the dog park downtown weekly. Literally every single time we are down there, there is a really cool event, usually with live music going on! Lots of festivals and events and local vendors....More

It is a downtown you can walk and has a old feels to it. There isn't tons of chain store more locally owned shops and resturants

Downtown St. Pete is very pedestrian friendly. Great restaurants and great bars. There is also a movie theater and shopping. The best part is all the walking you can do on the waterfront! Don't miss it!

Dining shopping art and super atmosphere and people walking there reminded me of la core d ‘Azur in France oui oui j’adore Beaucoup you can bar hopping in upscale restaurant or wine cellars and enjoy some of Florida ‘s best gastronomy

Everywhere you go there are chouces. There is a band playing in a park, there are shops for everything, food, salons, entertainment, events, every day is something new, every weekend something planned. Fabulous.

My friend and I did not encounter any crime in the downtown area. It was highly populated by people walking, eating at cafes and shopping.
