Green Bench produces delicious and unusual craft beer. So if your typical adult beverage is a Miller lite try and expand your horizons. The brewery offers all types of beer from sours to saisons that are aged in wine barrels. Staff is friendly and helpful. They tend to be busy on the weekends and during the week is less busy. All different ages and types of people along with families. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great beer. Badly behaved dogs. We would’ve stayed & enjoyed several beers, but the dog situation was out of control. There were 5 dogs inside the brewery seating area barking at each other & you couldn’t walk around without being sniffed &/or licked. It’s too bad because the beers were great. Just would be nice if management could get a little control over that. Very unpleasant (& we like dogs!). The smokey beer was unlike any beer I have ever had! So good. The staff was so nice & friendly also.

We walked from waterfront to find this gem and so glad we did! Reminded us of our favorite Brewery in Ocala (Infinite Ale Works) where we frquent most every Sunday with our black lab. Awesome selection of beers, ciders and mead. Very cool indoor and outdoor spaces with a strong community vibe. We watched the place transform from a very chill Friday afternoon to the working crowds coming to meet for drinks to start their weekend. Loved seeing the dogs being welcome too. Will definitely be back!

We were walking downtown and decided to backtrack in order to try this brewery. We stood near the bar looking at the overhead beer menu expecting someone to ask us if we needed anything, even took turns using the batgroom qhile waiting, there were 2 bartenders. Nobody asked so we took one step to sit at the bar thinking that would do the trick, mind you, there was only one person sitting at the bar at this point. We sat and waited, one bartender was talking on the phone, the other walked by us to ask the ONE person at the bar to "look up a propery" for him.... no one looked our way or asked what we might like...we made sure to say "thank you" when we left, unserved, unnoticed. Truly horrible service and not worth it when the are so many other good breweries around.

Such a cool space inside, but mostly outside. What a great surprise when I tasted their mango golden sour. Simply delicious and refreshing on a warm winter day. Did I say that I love the outdoor area. They allow dogs, which isn't a problem unless the owners are not paying attention. Looking forward to returning and would love the chance to collaborate a beer with them when we return in March to do the same at another brewpub.

I visited with family during the Indie Flea outdoors event. Super crowded but still friendly staff willing to answer questions about the beers they served. Really enjoyed Alice which was a sour ale. 🍻

My girlfriend and I walked here from downtown 'proper' which was a decent hike but enjoyable. Green Bench is in the more Boho part of St Petersburg and the vibe of the place matches the neighborhood. The beers were good and the patio looked like it would be a lot of fun on a nice afternoon. This place is another great addition to the existing cadre of St Petersburg breweries.

My daughter had her pre-wedding social gathering here for about 30 people on a Friday night, and despite the intense Florida heat, we had a great time. The outdoor grounds had artificial turf and looked far nicer than in the other TripAdvisor photos. There were long picnic tables and individual benches, and between those boozing sedentarily, eating dinner from local take-out eateries, or just mingling afoot, we were adequately served with one table. Of special note at Green Bench were the pilsner beers, including the “Greetings From Yakima” single decoction pilsner with experimental 1134 hops, and, my favorite, the “Pohlednice” triple decoction Czech-style pilsner with Saaz hops. It was served exclusively in a large round mug with lots of delicious foam, just as Popeye used to drink. Per usual, my daughter took advantage of the ciders and was brimming from ear to ear. The servers were pleasant, the prices in check, and the music level low enough for normal conversation.

Very nice selection of craft beers. The inside is nice but you will want to stay outside and enjoy the weather. Very modern and trendy. The bar staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the beer selection. If you are in the area make sure you stop. It is a short walk from Tropicana Field.

Sunshine City IPA is a great IPA while Happy Hermit is a superb Pale Ale. Indoor area has ample seating for large groups and the two large TVs are great to watch the game (no sound though). The outside area provides more group seating and a large lawn but is usually crowded with little kids...
