Staff were friendly & professional and obviously knew what they were doing. Plus, they let out more line than the other two parasailing operations in St. Pete so you're up pretty high! Great experience.

The captain brought the boat almost near to the beach so that we won't get our clothing wet, the gear was in great condition, and the para sailing was such a breeze, no jerks or shakes while lift up, in air or dissent. Great experience.

We tried to sail the day prior but due to high winds the trip was cancelled. They asked us to return to the Pink Tikihut at 10 the next morning. Everything was explained in a straightforward manner including charges. Six of us went on the boat, four were children. The gear and life vests were in great condition. Three people went up at a time. In short, everything went smoothly. It was a fantastic experience for all! The crew members were very capable and informative. I highly recommend this outfit for your parasailing adventure.

The website for this business tells you they do 12 minute flights. We went on a day that was busy and had a few sketchy moments of weather, but were never alerted to the fact that we would get 1/2 the flights we paid for--yup flights lasted only 6 minutes each, and that was on top of them having kept us waiting 45+ minutes for the boat to return late (& to even take a leisurely 30 minute lunch break) while we sat on the beach waiting.
Top it off with a crew that smokes, one member gearing you up who smelled of alcohol and would lie down on the seats while the boat was moving, and it was not an event we would repeat. It should be noted we contacted the business to give them a chance to make this right. "Mike" pointed to weather and declined to do anything. Mike failed to note we waited 45+ minutes for a delayed trip, they turned the boat around while we were geared up to pick up 2 last minute participants, and that the next boat was to be filled with 6. Weather wasn't the key issue in this day--they were just busy and trying to make up time at the expense of our family. I wish we could mention great customer service or accommodations made for issues suffered. That just didn't happen for us.
Meanwhile, we were well mannered and even tipped the Crew. But we will not return of course.

My husband called to inquire about parasailing with my daughter. He asked Captain Mike if space permitted if his wife could ride on the boat as a bystander, in which he stated that was fine. On Tuesday august 8, we went to register as a family. While registering with the Manager Aaron, he then proceeds to mention there is a charge for me to ride on the boat. Although captain Mike never mentioned the charge, we agreed to pay it. The other thing Aaron stated while registering us that bothered me was if we paid in cash, we wouldn't have to pay the sales tax. so we show up Wednesday morning at 930 and one of the booth workers states you guys are going out on the second boat because Captain Mike scheduled someone else for 930. Really, you couldn't call and tell us that. As it turned out the other party didn't show so we were back to our normal time. The boat gets close to the shore but it isn't very easy to get on board with the waves crashing against the front. I have a bad back so once I saw how difficult it would be to get on boat I decided not to go. I wish they would have let us know how difficult getting on the boat would be. I wasn't able to take part of my family parasailing and I was disappointed that all these types of businesses care more about taking our money than helping families create memories. Better communication to customers regarding the process is needed.

We called several times to get information and make arrangements. There was no parasailing offered on Saturday due to winds so we scheduled for 9:30 Sunday morning. After finding the beach rental kiosk we filled out all of our waivers and paperwork while the young gentleman tried to get a hold of the boat captain. My first issue was their insistance on writing down ALL of our credit card info on a small legal pad. (full number, security code, etc.). When I questioned why they needed to write all of that down when they had just successfully swiped my card I was told, "it's policy". We paid $65 per person (my 12 and 13 year olds were doing it) and was told it would be another 30 minutes or so for the boat to arrive but we were welcome to sit on the wooden beach chairs to wait. After 20+ minutes of waiting the gentleman came back and informed us if my husband and I wanted to go on the boat with our minor children there was another $50 per person observer fee. That fee had never once been discussed with us until that moment. After all of the waiting and basically seeing how very disorganized they were, we cancelled the entire thing. I totally understand there is a maximum person allowance (6 people) on the boat but there was no one else going/waiting, I had 2 kids going and felt like a hidden fee was attached at the last minute. Ironically enough we watched the boat arrive shortly there after and sit without any customers for over 3 hours. I successfully consult businesses for a living...they would have drummed up additional business by letting the hundreds of people sitting on the beach see actual parasailing as opposed to watching an empty boat idling for hours. Not a lot of good business sense. They were never rude, just bad communicators with a lack of customer service skills. To their credit they did refund our credit card promptly.

Called for reservation and told 4:30, then 5:00, then went out finally at 5:45. Realize it is spring break, but this is a long delay. Then due to wind we’re not able to fly, but when asked if there could be any discount for use of go pro for second day we were told nothing could be done for us if we wanted to come back.

Just had a thrilling adventure parasailing at St Pete Beach. The folks at St Pete Parasails were friendly and professional. We made a reservation one morning and had the first ride of the day.
We were greeted warmly by the "on shore" team who took care of the booking arrangements and paperwork. The team on the boat outfitted us for the ride and were helpful with preparing us for the trip.
The ride starts from the back of the boat and as the parachute fills with air, you are immediately lifted and the ascent begins! As you rise, the natural beauty of the area is laid out before you. We could see past the Sunshine Skyway bridge to the south and all the way up towards Clearwater and beyond to the north and all the way into downtown St Petersburg!!
The trip is between 45 minutes and 1 hour based on the number of people on the boat but is well worth the effort.
Enjoy the ride!!!

Made reservations the the people were very nice and did the transaction quickly. We went later that day. It was very slow as the weather wasn't great but the people were super nice and very helpful. They rented beach loungers but since it was slow and we did the parasailing they let us use them for free the rest of the afternoon.
Just be sure your kids are OK going by themselves. Parents cannot ride on the boat with them so you just watch from the beach.

My wife and I really enjoyed the parasailing. The captain and crew on the boat were professional and knowledgeable. The only annoyance was the rep in the tiki hut having us go back to the hotel room to retrieve a coupon to which everyone has access (of course, that may say more about me than him)

Indeed, 10-year-olds are able to fly! However, they must be accompanied by an adult and they will fly with another person to make sure there is enough weight.
