About The Fish Hunter Fishing Charters
Private fishing charter for 1-4 anglerls Specialties Tampa Bay , St Petersburg fishing guide Capt. George Hastick ( The Fish Hunter) has been fishing the waters of Tampa Bay and the St Petersburg area from a young age and has a knack for finding the fish. George's passion for fishing keeps him striving to make sure you have a great day on the waters of Tampa Bay. Capt. George specializes in flats fishing Tampa Bay for Snook, Redfish and Trout but has a large portfolio of fish he targets from Tarpon, cobia, to grouper, mangrove snapper and more. When your charter is done he will add you to his fishing website photo album, send you your pictures from the day .Along with possibly getting your photo into a magazine, paper or website if you would like that. He is known for his snook catching capabilities but also loves the redfish. Snook are like bass on steroids!! They are an ambush predator and will jump out of the water, give gill rattling head shakes and do anything they can to battle you. Redfish are just a strong bulldog of a fish that will battle you all the way to the end and not give up. It is like being hooked to a freight train!!! History Established in 2001. Capt. George Hastick ( The Fish Hunter) has been fishing the waters of Tampa Bay and the St Petersburg area for over 35 years and has been professional Tampa Bay / St Petersburg guide for over 16 years. Capt. George's passion for fishing started at the young age of 5 and has grown into an obsession that he loves to share with everyone he meets. Capt. George has a friendly personality and treats everyone he meets as if you have been fishing friends for years. He knows, not just the fishing but the whole experience has to be great, from when you step on the boat till you step off the boat he will make your experience one to remember Capt. George Hastick has been on the nationally seen TV show Sling N' Bait and has been in Local fishing magazines and newspapers frequently. He also does regular fishing seminars at west Marine and for the Tampa Bay Times at the Florida State Fair Grounds and at Tropicana Field. Along with that he gives regular fishing reports to internet fishing sites, pay sites and a few local papers. Meet the Business Owner Capt. George Hastick started his passion for fishing, when his Uncle Frank handed him his first fishing pole at 5yrs old. He started out freshwater fishing but once he saw the variety and sizes of fish that the saltwater had to offer there was no turning back. Capt. George has been fishing the waters of the Tampa Bay area for more than 35 yrs and has been a professional fishing guide for over 16 yrs and loves to share his passion. From novice to accomplished anglers, men, women and children are all welcome aboard The Fish Hunter.

The weather and fish were not cooperative, but Capt. George worked hard to put us on some fish. Ended up catching some Jack Ceravalles, which were very fun! I would fish with Capt. George again any time!
