While not large, this park has a lot to offer. Boat launches are real nice. Beautiful views. Nice walk and a frisbee golf course!

We joined our daughter & son-in-law & 2 grandkids here to kill some time before they had to head to the airport. The playground was wonderful, the kids loved it. Plenty of monkey bars and slides. Just outside the fenced in park were picnic tables...More

A quiet day in the park and so much calm to be enjoyed in the midst of a city. A special place and well maintained.

Most of the time I'm launching a boat to go fishing here. With two separate launch areas with 5 boat ramps and fairly ample parking, most days you have no problems getting the boat in for a quick launch. However, on nice days, boat and...More

This is a quiet, uncrowded, water- and nature-focused park at the last exit before the Sunshine Skyway Toll. Worth a stop. Biking and hiking trails, but best is just to walk along the beach facing Bird Key. Historic Indian Mound is right behind you. The...More

We have used Maximo as our go-to boat ramp for a few years. It gets you close to the gulf w/o having to go out to the beaches. Don't want to bring more people though because it can be a zoo on the weekends. So...More

This is a very spacious and pretty waterfront park. Swimming, boat ramps, playground, disc golf, hiking and biking trails, shelters with grills and water. Also interesting history on the numerous plaques. I recommend a visit!

Actually there is a bike trail that's marked as you enter the park. I've never ridden on the trail so don't have first hand info. I don't think the bike trails are like off-road trails.
