Honestly, typical farm market with overpriced stuff. $7 for a small bun? C'mon be real, I can buy a whole bunch of those in a supermarket for that kind of money, it's not even that good. Lots of people as well.. nothing special.

When I visit my sister in St. Petersburg, Saturday morning market day at the beautiful downtown farmers market is always a must to do! There is always such an abundance of fresh beautiful produce that it’s hard to not overbuy! With the live music, lots of food vendors, and artisan booths, one could spend the whole morning eating, browsing and enjoying the music on a beautiful day in downtown St. Pete. There are lots of inexpensive parking garages close by!

Great buzz and things to buy at the Farmer's market. Got a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables that lasted through the stay in St Petes. Also some great crepes, ribs and middle eastern desserts from some food trucks/booths while visiting. Crowds were down a bit due to impending thunderstorm but it was an enjoyable experience to mix with all the locals.

I have been to many an open air market over the years, but this one ranks as one of the very best. Near the waterfront area and in the shadow of the soccer stadium, this is the place to be on a Saturday morning. There are stalls with beautiful fruits and vegetables, plants and herbs, food items of all types, and arts/crafts. There is entertainment (the day we were there a one-man-band at the entrance and a jazzy ensemble near the eating area). There are so many choices for those who are looking to eat something from French to Ethiopian to Cuban and everything in between. My wife got a delicious crepe at a French place and I got one of the best tamales I've ever eaten at a tamale stand. You can wander about to your hearts content, take a break to eat and explore the area (the Dali museum is very close), and then come back for more. Parking lot is small, but there are cheap parking garages a block or so away. Don't miss this!
