About
The largest Farmers Market in the southeast United States, with over 170 vendors rotating through 135 spaces. An extraordinary selection of prepared food, great crafts, plants, flowers, and more. A wonderful selection of produce straight from the farm, including 2 large organic farms. Be sure to come hungry - we have 13 countries and styles of ready-to-eat food (e.g. French, German, Italian, Belgian, Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Ecuadorian, Mexican, Jamaican, BBQ, Soulfood and more!) Live music and a variety of entertainers every week. Lots of tables to hang out and enjoy the great sense of community. Come see what many people say is the best thing to ever happen in St Petersburg. The Market runs from October - May. (9am - 2pm) The smaller nearby Williams Park Summer Market runs from June - August (9am - 1pm)

Saturday morning must.

Saturday morning must. We come every time we visit the area. Love the mushrooms lady, the truffle man, local bread, local cheese, treasure island fish spread, and more. Good place to find unique gifts.

Needs seating
May 2021 • Couples
Lots of vendors with produce, honey, crafts, plants, drinks, and ready-to-eat foods. The problem is lack of seating. Pioneer Park is across the street with park beaches, but tables and chairs at the market would be a good idea.

Nice market

Stopped by this farmer’s market while visiting the area. The vegetables looked fantastic. Wished we could have taken them all with us. The food offerings were a bit pricey. It was a nice place to stroll around though.

Excellent Market

This is a must stop while in the area for me. Wonderful variety of venders.Everything from food, coffee, produce, plants to clothes and handmade items. There is definitely something for everyone.
I love the variety of vegetarian/ vegan options.
It's always a fun experience, must get there early for some of the more popular venders as they sell out quickly.

Which stop before heading home
Jan 2021 • Couples
My husband and I enjoyed the market tremendously. Many dog owners brought their dog; almost every single dog was very well behaved - a couple of them were even being pushed in a stroller.
The vendors varied from pasta makers to bakeries to soaps, seasonings, lots of fresh/organic produce.
One section of the market had a couple food trucks and tents with food set up. Eating is not allowed within the market and has to be done within the parameter set by the market.
If you do not feel like walking, there is a $5 parking fee for the lot right next to the market. Otherwise, I would suggest that you get there early enough to park at the meters in the streets north of the market.
A great quick outing!

Nothing special

Honestly, typical farm market with overpriced stuff. $7 for a small bun? C'mon be real, I can buy a whole bunch of those in a supermarket for that kind of money, it's not even that good. Lots of people as well.. nothing special.

Saturday Market Is A Must Do
Feb 2020 • Couples
When I visit my sister in St. Petersburg, Saturday morning market day at the beautiful downtown farmers market is always a must to do!
There is always such an abundance of fresh beautiful produce that it’s hard to not overbuy!
With the live music, lots of food vendors, and artisan booths, one could spend the whole morning eating, browsing and enjoying the music on a beautiful day in downtown St. Pete.
There are lots of inexpensive parking garages close by!

One of the Highlights of the Visit to St Petes
Jan 2020
Great buzz and things to buy at the Farmer's market. Got a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables that lasted through the stay in St Petes. Also some great crepes, ribs and middle eastern desserts from some food trucks/booths while visiting. Crowds were down a bit due to impending thunderstorm but it was an enjoyable experience to mix with all the locals.

Terrific Market
Jan 2020
I have been to many an open air market over the years, but this one ranks as one of the very best. Near the waterfront area and in the shadow of the soccer stadium, this is the place to be on a Saturday morning. There are stalls with beautiful fruits and vegetables, plants and herbs, food items of all types, and arts/crafts. There is entertainment (the day we were there a one-man-band at the entrance and a jazzy ensemble near the eating area). There are so many choices for those who are looking to eat something from French to Ethiopian to Cuban and everything in between. My wife got a delicious crepe at a French place and I got one of the best tamales I've ever eaten at a tamale stand. You can wander about to your hearts content, take a break to eat and explore the area (the Dali museum is very close), and then come back for more. Parking lot is small, but there are cheap parking garages a block or so away. Don't miss this!
