About
The largest Farmers Market in the southeast United States, with over 170 vendors rotating through 135 spaces. An extraordinary selection of prepared food, great crafts, plants, flowers, and more. A wonderful selection of produce straight from the farm, including 2 large organic farms. Be sure to come hungry - we have 13 countries and styles of ready-to-eat food (e.g. French, German, Italian, Belgian, Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Ecuadorian, Mexican, Jamaican, BBQ, Soulfood and more!) Live music and a variety of entertainers every week. Lots of tables to hang out and enjoy the great sense of community. Come see what many people say is the best thing to ever happen in St Petersburg. The Market runs from October - May. (9am - 2pm) The smaller nearby Williams Park Summer Market runs from June - August (9am - 1pm)

We spent the better part of the morning exploring this very large farmers market, which also has a good number of artist booths. The farm fresh produce looked amazing and all of the food booths smelled great. There is also very nice live music, and this is all right by the water. So, definitely a must visit for us the next time we visit.

This farmers market has great variety - an array of food booths, live music, a seating area to relax while the music plays and you eat your selections, a really good selection of specialty items, and some large produce stalls. There are also craft items, hats, glassware, etc. There is a large parking garage two blocks before you get to the market on 1st. It is the best place to park as there is none available nearer the market. Parking is reasonably priced. The most popular item when we visited were the bouquets of sunflowers. Seems like everyone had bought them. We were there from 10 am to about 1 pm and noticed that some of the booths had sold out of their most popular items - so get there early for the best selection.

This was a fun Farmer’s market. A good mix of food, vendors, and produce. This area was very dog friendly as well. Great for couples, families, and kids.

I always love open markets, and the one on Saturday downtown St. Pete did not disappoint. A fair warning to the wise – it got very hot for us, and since much of the market is situated directly on the hardtop, be prepared to swelter. But when we went, it was a lot of fun hopping from stand to stand, checking out crafts, specialty foods, frozen drinks, and various ethnic meals. Irish music was on tap that morning, so there was plenty of excitement in the air.
Compared to a typical “marché” in Europe, the St. Pete market is more of an open season “fair” than a traditional place to purchase groceries. There were two or three vendors selling vegetables, including the largest one in the back supporting a line about 50 people deep. It might have been nice if the organizers had added more staples to the mix and less exotics, even though the latter was fun for the morning. As it stands, this venue felt more suitable for tourists and passersby than residents stocking up on local produce for the week.

Very good experience. There is a lot of food options here and very friendly vendors. Fresh plants, vegetable stands, crafts, cookies, hot foods, popcorn and lemonade… anything you could want from an open air market. Parking is a bit rough for handicap… we could not find any. Parking garage is half a block and cost $10.

Hi, I purchased a magnet bracelet from one of your vendors last year. I live in Ohio and would like to know if she has an online store. I have carpal tunnel and the bracelet helped my avoid surgery. Is there somewhere where your regular vendors are listed? Thank you.

You may be asking a question about the new online marketplace that recently started up. Its a way of getting farm fresh products without attending Sat Market. Google 'St Petersburg Online market'.

There is a small handicapped lot on the south edge of the Market. Enter from 1st St. I'd recommend getting there early to increase the probability of getting a space

The Market moves to Williams Park the week before the race. We're forced to close entirely the Sat of the race due to lack of space, parking and more. Sorry.
