About
We are located in an old ice factory in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. Our facilities include a big room, a small room, a lounge/library with dressing rooms, a massage room, and two bathrooms, one with a shower. We offer all kinds of classes: Mysore, Power, Hot, Rocket, Beginner's, Prenatal, SUP, meditation, and more. Our instructors are committed to their craft and we love our students. Most of our classes are fun and hard, but don't worry, at The BE You Can Flow Your Own Way. Come and practice with us when you're in the Tampa Bay area!

I do yoga. A lot. I travel. A lot. Delighted to have found the BE. A true oasis in the crazy business of yoga. Studio has a great space with brick, wood and high ceilings. Knowledgeable instructors who push you to the edge, and a welcoming community that is down right fun. Whether you stop in while visiting the area or become a junkie, you will love this place. Cannot help but feel that 20 years of practice was to prepare me for this amazing studio. Keep yoga weird!

THE prominent yoga studio of St Petersburg. You must go, regardless of level. Parking in back for overflow.

Instruction is highly professional and experience is deep. Ambiance is mystic, generated from originally being a 1929 ice house. Can't beat how really cool BE is today!

Time for Hot!

I found this awesome yoga place not too far from home. The instructors are excellent with good knowledge of Yoga and are able to handle a group that may be at different stages in the Yoga journey. I really enjoy opening the joints in the warmth of this Yoga class, the other yogis with more experience help me challenge myself to move to a different level in my poses. The attendants are quite diverse in terms of ages, gender and race which makes me feel in the right place. Highly recommend it!.

I'm new to Yoga and this is definitely my Yoga home. The owners and instructors are super nice. What a hip place. So glad I found it. Fun and always a good workout. Highly recommend it!

Welcoming, Non-Pretentious, Challenging, Mindful Yoga

A great, non-pretentious yoga studio. While there are classes of varying intensity, you never feel judged by the wunderkind practitioners. Everyone "stays on their own mat" and are generally welcoming folk.

I've done yoga on and off for 14 years, and this is by far my favorite. There are workshops and special events all the time, and Mystery Meat on Sundays (rotating staff and rotating styles) is a real treat.

You might be like me and have a favorite of everything, but I truthfully tell you that every instructor is my favorite.

Be Present and Be Body Electric.

I am a yoga instructor from Miami - recently moved to the area. I explored quite a few studios in the area over the past couple months before my search ultimately led me to Body Electric - where my journey will now continue indefinitely! This is an excellent yoga studio/ community for absolutely ANYONE. Whether you are entirely new to the practice or a master yogi, you will find what you need here. The location is great - situated in the middle of a neighborhood that has a very peaceful and safe feel. The studio itself is a renovated ice cream factory - it is a very large space and it is BEAUTIFUL. Warm, friendly energy greets you as soon as you walk through the front door, and the staff are genuinely kind and always helpful. They offer a wide variety of classes that change often - 3 separate, huge rooms and many different instructors - all of them with a completely unique teaching style, but also all incredibly welcoming, motivating and clearly in love with the practice and this community. They also offer various workshops, beach days/SUP yoga and many host other fun events throughout the year. It seems that there are plenty of additional exciting events going on within this community throughout the year as well - workshops, bookclubs, beach days/SUP yoga, poolside yoga, etc . I definitely recommend checking this studio out - even for someone only visiting the area with time for a single class. You will love your experience here.

The Body Electric Yoga Co has a bevy of class opportunities, geared towards the novice or the expert. There's a sense of community in the center and they are expanding - woo hoo!!!

This was my first experience Tea Ceremony and I loved it! The instructor's passion and knowledge was evident as the sacred ceremony progressed. There were 8 of us seated in a semicircle on the floor. There are plenty of yoga props available including bolsters and blankets. Two hours of floor sitting may not be available for everyone. Ashley served a blend of tea from Taiwan. We were served many bowls for about an hour and half, a Q and A followed. She commented each ceremony has its own personality. My experience was of grounding. We've had a busy trip and 2 hours of uninterrupted mediation with soft music being served sacred tea proved very beneficial! Post ceremony I felt blissed out, like a few hours of yoga asana; without the sweat. Really interesting. The spaces at this studio are beautiful! Brick, diffused light and hardwood floors! They also have a variety of essential oils, sprays, handmade jewelry and chakra oils. I'd love to do yoga here too! Next time! Be sure to reserve your space!
