My friend had a coupon, and so we went. It was a nice day, and a nice walk around the park. And now I know just that much more about the vegetation of Florida. But I did get a "hokey" feel of the place. I...More

This is an old treasure, amazingly kept alive and thriving. The plants are varied, interesting and beautiful. Added bonus of birds and fish ponds. There are special programs for children.

A truly beautiful way to spend a day or a few hours. It's about 4 acres so you can see it all in a few hours or you can take a picnic lunch. We didn't but I wish we had. Amazingly landscaped with lots of...More

Walk the paths of this unique and beautiful garden filled with plants from throughout the world. It is a magical experience. Not only are there plants, but there are flamingos and other birds. Visiting the Sunken Gardens is a special treat.

This is a hidden gem in St. Petersburg. The new flock of flamingoes are stunning in color and beauty. Just spending a couple of hours walking through the gardens is peaceful and relaxing. Great place to take out-of-town company.

Gardens have seen their heyday - although they're still very nice, we've been to others that were superior.

This is a great place for a leisurely walk....a bit pricey for a walk....gardens are well groomed. The smalls we had were not impressed. They were looking for rides at every turn.....and I am sure they annoyed the other patrons. It was nice there was...More

We visited the Sunken Gardens in a light rain. Even though the attraction is entirely outdoors, we still had a good experience. There are a lot of interesting plants and local history to enjoy. The most fun was the birds and the enthusiastic staff member...More

My membership to the Denver Botanical Gardens granted me free entry to Sunken Gardens, so I figured I couldn't go wrong at this price. The gardens were small, but well kept. Easy to walk paths, many benches along the way for resting. Along with beautiful...More

Yes, it is wheelchair accessible but it can get crowded and hard for wheelchairs and people to pass by in some of the walkways.
