I have been here several times. It is an intimate setting that allows you get close to the performers. Unfortunately we had a drunk in the audience last night. At first a mature woman asked the man to be quiet. Over the course of the next hour, several people including the director spoke with the individual. At one time a... More

Right off the top, the Side Door of the Palladium in St Pete is 5 out of 5. This was our fifth visit to the Side Door and every time has been outstanding. Seeing the Damon Fowler Group last night was one for the books; but I digress. The Side Door is located to the left rear and slightly under... More

First time at The Palladium at St. Petersburg College to see Jonny Lang. I have been to numerous concerts to see Jonny Lang but this is the first time I've seen him in such a small venue. The acoustics of The Palladium is great, I could hear and understand every word and note. The Palladium is a small venue but... More

We saw a Steely Dan cover band. They are very talented musicians, but the lead singer was weak so the producer cranked up the instruments a bit too loud. The overmodulation and made the lyrics hard to impossible to understand. The auditorium is small and intimate, the seats are comfortable, there is a shortage of bathroom facilities for both sexes.... We went to the 7/10/16 afternoon performance of South Pacific with my 93 year old mother, who has to use a walker--as did quite a few people I observed. It was not made very clear to us when we asked where the handicap entrance was? We found it, but we ended up on the wrong side of the entrance. Fortunately,... More

We saw South Pacific and it was so much fun. Actors were great. Only problem, and we were in the middle, second row, and parts of the the show took place stage left and stage right, and we couldn't hear the words of the actors. We attended a show at the Free Fall Theater in the afternoon, and they had... More

Saw the St. Petersburg Opera Company's "La Boheme" here at the Palladium tonight and it was a great venue for an intimate experience of a classic opera. I have been here for other events, mostly concerts and the acoustics have improved a great deal since they first opened. This former church and now historic building creates a great atmosphere for... Small charming historic venue. A definite find for those who enjoy performances. In a really small theatre. I have attended several performances at several different price points for the tickets. I don't think there is a bad seat in house. Also they have added several. Additional bathroom stalls which shortens the wait

I recently attended a performance of The Abduction from the Seraglio. My seat was in the last row of the balcony. Sight lines and audio were impressive! There was no artificial amplification so the sound was pure. A memorable experience.
