Awful Sound Echo in front rows.

After spending thousands to see a show -- an echo in the first three rows is ridiculous. The performer acknowledged it... as did the audience complain.

Tacky and ruined the evening.

Cherry Wonderdog saw Jesse & Joy here in August 2023. Parking was free! It’s an intimate venue, one where you don’t feel too far from the stage even in the way back. The seats (except the one we had whose springs were broken) were comfortable. Concert audio was decent, and visibility of those performing by those of us located in the middle and back was relatively good. No complaints.

My understanding was doors opened at 8 for a industrial/metal concert. Opener then main band. . I was there by 1030 and doors were locked. No staff would even look at me or my ticket. Some folks were leaving so I held their door and entered and a staff member took me by the shoulders and pushed me out and out of my sandals on the sidewalk. If I knew how to press charges or had a lawyer to consult I would. There has to be cameras all over the lobby I would like someone to watch that evidence. 5/19/23. I will never go there again obviously.

Beethoven 9th last night. It was disappointing. I wanted to be roused, a chill down my spine. I think it was a combination of low volume and an acoustically poor venue. Chorus members singing with masks on. On a scale of 1 through 10 I give it a 5.

We visited for an Il Divo concert. A circus getting in, then event started an hour late. At no point did anyone make any effort to explain what was going on, terribly disorganized poorly run venue. Attend at your peril

Went to "The Guess Who" concert on March 25. It was our first time at this venue, and we really enjoyed it. The staff was great, the band was great, and the venue was great. They had very good security. The only negative was that people came in late and had to crawl over you to get to their seats interrupting the show for you. They also kept going in and out constantly for drinks.

This was our first visit to the Mahaffey Theater and we found it to be a delightful venue. The staff members went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Seats were comfortable with ample legroom. Restrooms and snack bars were plentiful, so there's always one close by without too much of a wait. Sound for the show we saw was very good (Florida Orchestra with guest vocalist Tony Desare).

$220 per person does not equal good seats. Stared at the back of someone's head. Seats do not rise enough. Was hard for all of us to see. Show was decent. We were seated in Orchestra 2 I think. Ground level, center.

Came for the pandora princess Disney concert. Very beautiful theatre and easy to access. $10 cash only parking. Not the best selection of snacks and drinks, could be more interesting but seats were nice and had a very nice view from the balcony. Sound was great.

Highlighting the fact that shyster towing services will tow your vehicle if you are cheap like me. $106 fee plus a $10 cab ride. 11PM and your car is missing. In the rain. Made a great Mahaffey concert experience suck. Word to the wise - pay the $5 up front to park in the theater lot.
